Could be more waterproof
I like how this blanket has a lifetime warranty, is machine washable, has a small pocket to store things, and the bottle opener is a nice touch. It's not that heavy and is easy to roll back into its packable form. My biggest complaint is that it could be more waterproof. To be fair I've only used it once and the spot we picked was pretty wet/muddy from typical PNW post rain weather/moisture. Our pant bottoms were wet when we were done eating, but they would've been a lot worse without the blanket. I'm curious to see how it fares in other environments and will probably update this review if neccessary. I think it will pair nice with the REI Co-op Outdoor Blanket I have from a previous purchase. However, for the price (I bought the large), I wouldn't expect you'd need another blanket. I would definitely recommend for friends in dryer or sandier clients.

Durability concerns
I really wanted to like this one -- it has a great set of features. The fabric feels nice to sit on, it is indeed waterproof for use on damp ground. But both the fabric on the underside and top seem very delicate for an outdoor blanket. I used it once on ground that had a bit of small gravel, and found small tears on both sides of the fabric afterward. I guess if you plan to be careful with where you lay it out it's a good find. For me the combination of cost, weight, and low durability are enough down checks that this one may be getting returned.

Nemo blanket Rocks!

We are mainly using our Nemo Victory blanket inside our tent to insulate us and help keep us dry. It is great! It is also great to use as a picnic blanket. I would give it a 5 star rating except it is heavier than I’d like.

Love the look but unfortunately a let down.

Got this for my girlfriend who likes to picnic. The button broke 7 months in with only 6 uses. Moisture does make its way through on grass. It’s also sort of heavy for what it is.

Ideal Concert Blanket

Perfect outside concert blanket. Sturdy, but comfortable to sit on. One can remove all grass and debris with simple shake. Easily rolls back up into its carrier. Went to the concert with friends, and they will be purchasing one for themselves.

Decent but straps are a weak point.

The blanket material works well. The large size pattern is simply repeated, which isn’t very creative. But my biggest issue with the blanket is the metal strap system doesn’t hold very well and one of the metal grommets broke off after less than 6 months of use (typically one use per week). Nemo can fix it but I’d have to pay to ship it to them.

Awesome product but this size does not actually fit with the Nemo victory sunshade, as per the Nemo web site it's the picnic XXL that fits with that.

High quality blanket

This blanket is pricey, but I really love the high quality of it. We’ve used it in parks and beaches so far and have had no issues. It’s kept us fully dry and comfortable. Plus, it’s a great roomy size for 2 people!

Heavy, otherwise well designed.

I wanted to like this blanket but it's far too heavy to have utility beyond car camping or drive-to use. Returned.

Beautiful & high quality, but HEAVY

I loved the look and feel of this blanket, but I learned that I should check the weight if I buy online, because it was surprisingly heavy and I was looking for something much more lightweight, so I'm returning it.
