Perfect for The Narrows
I had foot surgery 4 months ago and needed to buy a wide toe box sandal to play in the water in. I'm a frequent player at The Narrows so I'm confident these will work just fine. I'm wondering if I could use a half size smaller because my left shoe is a tad big and I won't be able to adjust the back for a snugly fit. But it fits my right swollen foot like a glove.
Another great Hoka
I bought these to go to Playa del Carmen. All my walking/hiking shoes are Hoka. I was excited for these as an option for water shoes. I have only worn them twice in the PNW. They worked well at Chichen Itza! Very comfortable. I don’t get as many rocks in them as when I wear other brand sandals.
Love the Support - Hated them in sand!
I took my Hokas to Maui and Kauai. And they were great in the rivers and hiking and even mud. But the moment I even stepped on sand it was awful. The sand would get stuck between the outer and inner shells and were painful to wear. Granted with a high power sprayer and a good 10-15 mins a shoe I could remove all the sand. I solved the problem on this trip by wearing merino wool no-show socks. Which solved the issue but looked a bit silly, especially in Hawaii. It would be really great if the inner and outer shell was connected so sand couldn’t get in.
Lousy customer experience.
This is my experience not the shoe. My order was canceled with no communication to me that it had been cancelled. I received the initial purchase confirmation and an expected delivery date. When the delivery date came and went, I checked the original order status email and found that the order was cancelled. It’s annoying that I wasn’t informed of the cancellation.
Great water shoes
These are very comfy and found them on clearance. They are adjustable and a cute color. Haven’t been able to test them out yet since I bought in the winter but looking forward to trying them this summer.
Nice shoes, but the fit is way too wide.
Nice summer shoes, but the fit ran way too wide for me. Sadly, had to return. I gave them a 3 stars because if you have very wide feet these will be great shoes.
