I can NOT stand being cold! This was the best choice for me. It is thick- big girl with booty and hips and I stay off the hard ground. I sleep in my back and side and I’m comfy most the night. I pair it with an enlightened quilt. Sleep is my pleasure item for sure. It is worth the 2 pounds for comfort after a long day of backpacking. I even got the long size because I’m 5’11” and don’t like cold feet at night either. I got one for my husband too. He loves it too. Get it! Enjoy it!
weight is a little high for the large at about 38 ounces with the sack, but the comfort is the best I've experienced in a sleeping pad ever...and I've tried out at least a dozen different pads. It's also got a pretty high insulation value so for the last trip a couple weeks ago, most nights dropped to mid 20's and there was no coolness coming from the ground. Probably not a full 5 stars, but close
I purchased this pad to use during a 5-night backpacking trip to Oklahoma with a Boy Scout group. The inflation bag was a plus but after about two hours I woke up and the pad was completely flat. I tried to refill it multiple times but each time it would deflate within an hour or two. Being on the trail, and with minimal resources, I was unable to attempt to locate and repair the leak.
