[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Newton Peak Waterproof Hiking Boots from Columbia were built for misty forests, rocky trails, and unpredictable weather.. you know, your typical PNW conditions. 😉 With waterproof suede uppers and seam-sealed Omni-Tech construction, these boots keep feet dry while providing solid traction on wet rock, dirt, and gravel. The Omni-Max system paired with a TechLite ECO midsole offers lightweight cushioning, stability, and support for long days on varied terrain. For me, they did run about a half size big, so I’d recommend sizing down for a more secure fit. Overall, I love these boots and highly recommend them if you’re looking for a budget-friendly hiking shoe.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These boots have been used 5 days a week since June working on the ground crew of a golf course. They are very comfortable, durable and they're waterproof. These provide ankle support and traction in various situations.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son works upwards of 6 days a week in a wood mill walking up and down ladders, stairs, catwalk, and more needing to climb up and over things so a good pair of boots always is needed. These are not only good but they are comfortable to stand for the upwards of 10 hour days and sometimes 6 days a week. My son hates boots, but he actually likes these and wears them even outside of work. I think he may even buy these when these wear out as shoes/boots tend to do in the industry he is in.

He wore them on a long hike without breaking them in and he had no blisters or issues. He’s in love with them. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These very comfortable Columbia/REI Newton Peak waterproof hiking boots really came in handy for outdoor tripping to the mountains where it was cooler than the valley. I was so impressed with the fit. They kept my feet snug and ankles firmly placed in the boot. No sliding around and I have a bit of issue with instability so would love a few different feminine colors but alas I settled for the blue. These boots have not had to deal with water yet but the rainy season is starting to come upon us and we will soon find out because when Oregon starts to rain, we get rain for some time to come. Love these boots and despite having to choose the men’s small size 7 wide, they fit perfectly. They are pretty comfortable and fits great. They are waterproof and pretty durable. May be a bit more arch support might have been good but not a deal breaker. Highly recommend the shoes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had these Columbia hiking boots for about a month now, and have taken them on a couple of moderate hikes so far they’ve been extremely comfortable right from the start with no break-in period needed. The fit is supportive without feeling tight and the cushioning keeps my feet comfortable even after several miles. The traction has been excellent, even on rocky dry, dusty and uneven terrain. Unlike my old boots, they don’t feel too heavy or bulky and are super light. I’m looking forward to seeing how they hold up overtime, but I’m extremely pleased so far. After the first hike, I immediately had to go out and buy two more pairs for my husband and son.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shoes themselves are comfy and do not cause any pain. I will say the toe box is a bit small, maybe not suitable for wide feet. The color of the shoe is nice because it goes with a lot of colors. So far the shoe is durable and lasts in 100+ heat, rugged terrain, and water.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great boots. The fit is right on. They are extremely comfortable. The shoe itself is made of a soft suede like material. There durable and surprisingly water proof. I can't wait to wear these during the winter. Recommend
