Very Useful Pocket Knife
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really liking this Gerber Affirm Folding Pocket Knife. I love the design. Just looks super cool. I like the dual thumb studs because I am left handed and it makes the knife user friendly for either left or right handed people. I like that it has a pocket clip so I can carry it with me comfortably at all times. I find myself reaching for it a lot throughout the day. The blade is sharp. I have used it to cut string while fishing, cleaning my fish, slicing up cheese, open packages, and I even removed a splinter with it. It does what it’s supposed to do and I’m happy I have it!
Sharp and easy to use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Knife is super sharp out of the package. Nice and light for a great EDC. Clip is short but effective. The knife has a great grippy tactile feel for having an aluminum frame. The opening action is not as fluid as some more expensive ball bearing knives, but for the price this is an absolutely awesome knife. Great EDC! Very sharp! Easy to use!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Gerber Gear Affirm pocket knife for free in exchange for my honest review. Right out of the package, this is a good budget friendly EDC pocket knife. The knife unfolded from tip to end measures right at 8 1/4 inches. The blade is 3 and 3/4 inches in length. The handle thickness is right at 3/8 of an inch. I love the slender profile of this model. I would classify this as a gentleman's knife. You can easily slip this into your pocket and is ideal for every day carry. The thumbstud makes this easy to pop open. It is a little stiff out of the package and needs broken in a bit. I may disassemble to sand down the washers a little and add a bit of oil so that it really opens easy. The blade comes out super sharp from the start. I can easily shave a piece of paper in two. The framelock is easy to slide over and close the knife with one hand. I love that the handle is made of medal. The biggest change I would make is on the clip to make it a deep pocket carry clip to make it less noticeable when clipped to my pocket. If you take care of this knife, the quality is definitely there for it to last for a long time. For the price, this is a really good pick-up. This would also make a good gift for Father's Day or a birthday. One of my very first knives that was gifted to me was a Gerber. You'll want to pick one up to add to your collection.
Excellent knife for a variety of applications!

Upon opening the package, I immediately noticed the excellent quality and finish of the knife. It is solid and doesn’t have any wobble or movement of the parts. The handle features a nice, durable finish and has a clip for your pocket. It also features a thumbhole for attaching a lanyard if you choose to. The blade is super sharp and is made of stainless steel which insures it won’t corrode or rust. It also has a dual side thumbstud to make opening fast and easy for both left and right hand users. It is also a lockback, which insures the blade won’t close accidentally, injuring the user. The length of the knife makes it perfect for both everyday carry and or a hunting/fishing knife. I’ve been packing this fishing and I love it. Needless to say it’ll be going hunting this fall as well since it would also be great for processing small game. The blade holds a great edge and I’ve used it everyday over the last few weeks. I’ve used it with everything from fishing, to whittling, to opening boxes and everything in between. With all of these features, plus a limited lifetime warranty, one would be hard pressed to find a better knife anywhere at this price point. Highly recommend!

The only complaint my husband had with this knife was that the dual thumbstuds are just a bit too long and you can feel them sometimes when carrying it in your pocket. It was nice and sharp right out of the package. He has large hands and it was a good size for him to grip. Clips in nice and secure to the side of his front pocket. Great knife except for the thumbstuds.
Great pocket knife
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is perfect pocket knife. Light weight and slim. Doesn't feel bulky in my pocket and fits nicely in my purse/handbag. It came sharp already straight out of the package which is a plus. I've had to hide it from my husband and son to keep them from walking off with it.
Great daily knife
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this knife! The coating makes the handle almost feel like stone and helps from slipping. It opens easily and smoothly. It comes sharp and ready for use. The blade isn't too thick, but it's still sturdy and holds up to normal use. I haven't tried it on anything too rugged or long-term but the quality leads me to believe it won't be an issue. I think this is a great daily knife and it's already the first one I reach for.
