Sweaty Betty  Explorer Club Mini Dress

This is a lovely, light comfirtabke dress but the fabric is rather delicate. I lightly sponged off a small bit of sun cream and it's actually worn away the fabric so it is now thinner in this area so beware of how delicate it is. I wish I had known this - I would've just washed it! The same thing has happened above the bottom hem although I didn't even sponge off this area and there are now thinner patches here. This is after only the first time wearing the dress. I'm gutted as I really like it 😔

Overall I really like the dress! Could be worn as a pool coverup or dressed up with some heels and a nice necklace. The fabric is thinner than I imagined but I wear it with a black bra and shorts just in case. I wish the neckline were a little bigger (personal preference) and the armholes a little smaller (the top edge of my bra shows a tiny bit under the arms but with a black bra it isn't super noticeable). I like that the back is longer than the front for some more visual interest. 5'6", 34B, 135lbs, short torso, long legs, ordered a size small.

If you are a lover of the ace, Explorer, midi dress, like myself, this is a great addition to the closet. It is not quite as short as pictured on the model (I believe only seven or 8 inches shorter than 80), A very good length we're going out, or even wearing over leggings after yoga. The draping and cut are as wonderful as the midi, however, the fabric is a little bit thinner and less luxurious than the midi.

I bought this as soon as it became available because I have all the other explorer dresses and I absolutely love them. The new tiered style mini explorer dress might be my favourite yet. I'm 5'6" and it comes up about 3-4 inches above my knees so it's not too short for me and the back comes down to my knees. It's so flattering and lightweight. Loveee!! Need many, many colours in this now :) #teamsweatybetty

I love the dress and the fit, it's perfect in that way. My issue is that after laundering it - cold hand wash and low heat dry, the material has seemed to stretch or something. I already purchased two more of this dress, I loved it so much, but with the material issue I may return them now.

Love, love , love this dress! I have the explorer dress from last year and was worried about the slight change in style. But love this one just as much! Just perfect for holidays and can be dressed up or down easily. I would size down if unsure as the style is generous size-wise

Love this dress! Like the shorter length better than the longer Explorer midi dress (which I really like too). It’s also lighter which I like. Small fits great on me 5’ 4”, 140 lbs. very versatile - easily dressed up or down - and perfect for traveling. Would buy in other prints.

Lightweight, flattering and packable makes this a triple win in my books! My favorite LBD as it dresses up or down easily and travels well since it doesn’t wrinkle. The only thing to be aware of is gusty winds may cause a Marilyn Monroe moment but great black dress all around.

I bought this dress as ath-leisure to wear as a mom at sporting events. Summer climate is HOT and this is perfect - easy fit, age appropriate, stylish, dress up or down, pool or court side. This dress is so sporty and can be used as attire or cover up.

I have this dress in both the shorter and longer versions and I’m obsessed! It goes great with flip flops to a ballgame or you can dress it up with heels and jewelry for a night out! So easy-breezy! I get compliments everytime I wear it!
