Free Country  Avron Insulated Jacket - Men's

Bought this jacket for the price -- believe it or not it cost me $42.87 -- and the fact that I couldn't find anything I liked for hundreds more. This winter coat isn't for cold in the teens or low 20s, but for low 30s and above it works great. I was struck by how well it's made -- love the fact the hood is removable -- and how good it looks. The fit and finish is impressive. I would compare it to the best products I've ever bought at REI. Don't know how well it's going to hold up but for $42.87 or even $95, how can you go much wrong? I'm pretty sure I got a deal. I almost didn't buy it because I thought it too inexpensive. Happy I rethought that position.

Very nice quality, warm, looks and fits really well, but I ordered the "vine" color and it's a lot more green in person than it looks in the pictures. It's still a really nice color, just not what I was expecting.

Nice fit (large - I'm 5'9" 185lbs). Warm. Not thick.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice mid-weight jacket with plentiful pockets. The Medium fits me to below the waist, I'm 5'7". The inside pocket has a velcro enclosure. A good choice for traveling, it is very light and can be easily folded into a backpack. Would not recommend for colder weather though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very comfortable and warm with plenty of pockets but the sleeves come back on my forearms too far when I reach in front of me. I even sized up to prevent this and it still happens. Love the hood and how it keeps its shape and is nice and large. Overall a very nice jacket

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love our jackets from Free Country! They suit our needs well and they fit great. Sizing is true to size. If you want to wear anything bulky underneath, maybe do a size up. I found the measurements in the size chart to be very helpful.

I loved this coat. It was a perfect fit, and warm. Features were excellent! Unfortunately the stitching failed in 3 places, to the point that I thought long-term use did not bode well. Purchase was refunded.
