I originally bought a patagonia, but it soaked up water like a camel and was stained by simple skin oil before i could even wear it. Luckily they had this jacket in my size on the rack when I returned the quilted bomber, so I bought it since it was 1/4 the price of the Pattagucci. This jacket fits way better then the jacket which shall not be named and you can hold your sleeve under running water and it just rolls right off. It's not even listed as waterproof. Do yourself a favor and buy this jacket...or 4 for the same price as the much lesser product. Who needs the name when you have quality.
Love the green color and great price. Runs big and had to size down for my son. Medium for 5’10” 170 pounds. Also very light but not very warm
It's a nice lite warm hooded puffer. Pockets are great 2 hand, 1 chest, and 2 inside. It also has a drawstrings at hem, which I love, and on the hood. The cuffs aren't adjustable. The fit is standard, with room to add layers. And you're going to want layers if it's close to freezing and windy. In the end it's a very decent jacket for 3 seasons. Plus the company recycles or "freecycles" bottles for insulation.
It’s a great jacket for the price. It provides good warmth in temperatures above freezing, even though it feels lightweight.
