Wrecked Feet

ASICS have always been my go to but these absolutely wrecked my feet after one short and flat 5 mile trail. I had blisters on the insteps and one of my feet hurt so bad I couldn’t bear wait on my heel for a couple days, these seem narrower then their other shoes although there was plenty of room in the toe box. Returning them.

Top Shelf

I started wearing the Trabuco shoe several years ago and fell in love with them. They have been great for my mixed trail/road walking/running. I average 7 miles daily, sometimes much more, sometimes a little less. This shoe keeps me comfortable and moving. The toe box is ideal with enough room and not too much to be bulky. They are comfortable right out of the box. The lace holder band is convenient as normally I’m having to tuck my laces under themselves. These are the only shoes/brand I don’t notice when I’m putting in long miles and the only ones that give me zero foot pain. I am a size 5 but size up to 6.5 in all of my running/trail shoes and the fit is perfect. I loved the color in this seasons shoe but the new ones coming out next season are questionable. I prefer more outdoorsy, neutral or muted colors and avoid bright, girly or intense colors personally. On the whole this is a fantastic shoe and I hope it keeps being made with few if any changes.

Overall firm fit with comfort heel

I won't lie, I ordered these first because I love their esthetics. BUT, I also needed heel cushion and a good occasional mountain climbing, more often pickleball playing, biking and and all around walking shoe. They arrived today. They fit great! I ordered my usual 9.5 size. I have a long and slender foot. Firm but not to firm, squishy heel, but not like the marshmallow squishy shoes some people need or want to wear. I'd say over all feel of this shoe is rigid/firm and holds my foot well. They feel the slightest bit long but not wide. With them not fully laced the outside of my big toe does rub every few steps. When laced and tied correctly my foot pulls back and there's no rubbing issue. I think these will do nicely. And did I mention all three of my kids and my husband said they look super good on me. :)

They genuinely make me feel good

Okay, I never write reviews. But- I love these shoes. I am not a serious runner, just the occasional accidental jog. I mostly just quickly walk through my neighborhood to the beach, with a few serious hills in between. The first time I put these shoes on I went WoW. I've been suffering through a year plus with the Brooks shoes I bought. Prior to that I had some Hokas that just felt like huge spongy boots that were disassociated from my feet. I have a high arch, under pronate. These shoes fit like a glove, have support, don't constrict yet feel totally stable. And true to size- I am generally size 8 and these fit perfectly. Big plus- they don't make my feet look huge! And they have spring, so when I do decide to run a bit it feels great, and fun. Every day I look forward to putting these on, they genuinely make me feel good. I wish I had bought these years ago.

Great traction and fit; not enough cushion

I love the traction and fit of the shoe (wide enough toe bed for my long second toe!). They also do well on snow and textured ice; which is what I was looking for. However, they just don't have the cushion I am used to with me Gel-Cumulous and Gel-Nimbus shoes. So my feet do get a bit sore when I run longer distances.

Love these shoes but...

I bought these shoes back in May, so three months ago and I have worn them a load. They are so awesome, incredibly comfortable and good grip. However, the side of the shoe where my little toe sits has worn through. So they are really not that hard wearing at all. So disappointed as they will not last.

Great first pair of ASICS

First ever pair and loving them. Have been a big Altra wearer for the past 10 years, but needed more cushion. Tried Hoka-too narrow in the toe box. But these have been wonderful. Soft, but responsive ride and good amount of space in the toe box! (I have a B width foot with very high arches).

Decided to get my 82 year old mom these shoes she gardens and mows the lawn. I bought it for her because I hiked in Iceland and the Faroe Islands in September with bad weather and slippery footing I never slipped one time 50 miles on not easy hikes .they are now my go to trail shoes

Has the support I was looking for

Good fit with nice support. I size up a half size when buying Asics. I like the color scheme, and in particular that the base of the shoe is a light grey instead of white that shows dirt quicker. Wish they came in some of the nice teal green colors from a couple years ago.

Asics have become my BASIC go to shoe.

This shoe offers optimum comfort and support for the long walks I love to take. I am considering purchasing another pair before prices on everything go up. As a matter of fact, I'm gonna do that next. I recommend this shoe for true to size fit. 👍🏾
