Not Big Enough

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unfortunately I will have to return it for a few reasons. 1. Too small for my MacBook 16". I had to really force it into the pocket. I would recommend this for more of an ipad or travel sized notebook user 2. I'm used to throwing my phone, keys, sunglasses into a water bottle pocket, and water bottle on the other side. These water bottle pockets are not elastic and are very deep. So they will fit (and cover) your average plastic water bottle but don't expect a thicker stainless or a tervis-sized bottle to fit. 3. The quality is very thin. I'm sure it's fine but coming from a Jester, it just seems less durable. I'm going back to the Jester.

Comfortable Spacious Backpack

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's hard to tell from the photos online but this bag has some great features: Front zippered pocket The second zippered section has a slip pocket and a zippered compartment The main section is spacious with a padded laptop sleeve Then at the very top a small fleece lined pocket for sunglasses or a phone Back padding is soft and comfortable Coral zippers The bottom of the bag has a nice bottom that you can easily wipe clean I think what I love most is how this bag is fitted specifically for a female's frame. It's so much more comfortable than any other backpack I've ever owned. This one is definitely a keeper!

Perfect commuter backpack!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Simply love this backpack! Perfectly compact, great commuter backpack. My last backpack was way too big, always felt like I was carrying Antarctica on my back!! The shape of this bag distributes weight evenly, makes my 2 mile walking commute a breeze. Wish the front storage compartments were slightly easier to organize, but other than that, have loved this backpack!

Would buy this backpack in every color.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It has become my school backpack to carry my MacBook, iPad, and whatever else I will need. It's been a perfect addition.

Perfect size for travel.

I'm fairly petite and often find backpacks are too big for me...this pack fits great (I ordered a couple different packs and this is the one I kept). I specifically bought it for a trip to Europe to use on the plane and when out and about. It fit everything I needed and I appreciated the multiple pockets for organizing. Only one of the side pockets will hold a water bottle since one is too short (24oz owala fit perfect, 32oz hydro flask was a tighter fit). I liked how the zippers for the largest two compartments could hide behind the water bottle to be less conspicuous while traveling and I was also able to use a small cable lock on them. My 15" hp laptop doesn't fit in the laptop pocket inside the pack, but does fit loose in the main compartment.

Not for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I liked the overall look. But the strap at the top felt flimsy for me. The fit was perfect and very comfortable. But the water bottle was not full sized on one side and the stitching also seemed not as good as other north face backpacks I have owned. I ended up going with borealis, which was more thick than I wanted. But the preferred heavier duty workmanship and construction that I expected from North Face. Happy with the borealis bag and ability to carry two full waterbottles on the sides.

removal of key zipper features - new version annoying to use

i bought this to replace an older version. some improvements (zipper on front small outside pouch, beautifyl dark blue green color), but 2 changes that significantly degrade the daily experience: 1) took zipper away from outside side pocket, which was great for grabbing keys without taking the whole backpack off, just one strap, and 2) removing the 2-way zipper on the smaller of two larger compartments. these cutting of corners alone almost made me return the bag. i LOVED my old version - now i'm annoyed with it constantly. still giving it 3 stars because it's one of the better small backpacks out there, but hope north face fixes these problems/downgrades in the next version. also please bring back a solid black/grey version that doesn't highlight the sporty logo so we can use this in more professional settings.

Perfect for air travel

I recently used the Women's Isabella Backpack 3.0 for air travel, and it was a great choice. The backpack is compact enough to fit under the airplane seat, but still has plenty of space for all my essentials. I appreciated the multiple compartments, which made it easy to keep everything organized, and the padded straps were comfortable to wear, even during long travel days. Overall, it's a practical and reliable option for anyone looking for a travel-friendly backpack.

Buying a second North Face Woman Specific Backpack

I use this women specific to travel back and forth internationally. It accommodates my laptop with tons of storage to boot. The woman specific design makes it comfortable on my shoulders and back. I have had problems with other backpacks that were not meant for women, with pain and fatigue. I bought this backpack to replace an old one that I just wore out with years of use. I would not buy another brand of backpack, and couldn't be happier with the fit and usability.

Practically perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought my first Isabella a couple of years ago to carry daily needs as I lived, walked and toured around Jerusalem, Israel. It was sleek and black. When summer came, I wanted a lighter color and searched all brands. I came back to the Isabella because it produced the lighter color I was looking for and doesn't look like I'm going hiking. Designers also added a zipper to the outside panel pocket and seemed to have slightly increased the size of the main compartment. The quality of materials used seem a little cheap, but the pack in light and gets the job done. In my opinion, there's a design problem with the new model of Isabella in that the organization pocket doesn't have double zippers. Its single zipper finishes zipping into the water bottle pocket which makes it not as easy to access the next time you go to unzip.
