This hat is perfect in the Texas sun. The brim is wide enough to shield the entire face, and it looks quite smart. The string string can be tied to secure it to your head on windy days which comes in handy.

Love this hat. Comfortable fit (I'm 5'4', medium size hat). Excellent protection sun and glare protection. Just the right weight for me. Stays on in a breeze even without using the strap, which I like for windier days. And it looks great. Btw the strap can be adjusted around the crown.
