Moving with verve

I walk my dog 5/6 miles a day and these allow me to checkout any terrain in any weather. Highly recommended.

Not overly impressed

Shoes are very comfortable. But the soles are are almost too spongy. So much so that I don’t feel very stable in them. A slight shift in weight makes the shoes give way in an unsettling manner. I’ve had the shoes a couple of weeks and am still trying to adjust to them. If that doesn’t happen soon, they are going by the wayside.

Great shoe

The shoe fits true to size, or slightly large. The base is easy to clean so don’t worry about going around the mud. The laces tend to slip, but a double knot fixes that. Bottom seems to not wear away, even when walking on concrete. I would like more color variation but this shoe looks good with most colors. Waterproofing is well done and my feet stay dry walking in the wet grass.

Runs small and short

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Runs small and cuts of circulation. Runs short but only for the big toe. Size good for other toes, a half size to full small small for big toe. Leads me to wonder what kind of "average" foot shape they are building around. Because I fit in everything else, and have a very average foot shape and toe length.

WOW!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing project! The shoe fits like a glove and has given me the secure fit that I need. As a bus driver I’m up and down and on my feet for many hours at a time ( too beat up for running;)) and the fatigue has been virtually eliminated! Thanks KEEN for another amazing project/product! ¡BUOYAH!

So comfortable and great for walking

Some people don't seem to like the curve of the sole. They are not totally flat, I work on shows and I am walking all day so it's fine, the curve helps you walk. They are soooo comfortable, I love them.

Very Comfortable True to Size

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased these as an alternative to the Targhees, my go to shoe over the past decade plus. I've been wearing varios Keens for two decades and the 450 Dirt is an excellent walking/light hiker shoe. I wear a 14 because I'm longer than a 13 with wide feet. I'm 6'2 and weigh 250 puttting about 12-17k steps daily on my shoes over mostly dirt/gravel roads and trails. I always pair my shoes with Superfeet insoles and always wear fairly thick cushioned Darn Tough socks. I've had two pairs for about three weeks alternating daily. Fit is typical of Keen; sufficiently wide toe box which is a must for me. Inital impressions are very good to excellent quality construction. The 'Keen Curve' sole is new to me and I'm finding I prefer it over my Hoka sneakers [which I also love]. I can't speak to waterproofness; Vermont has been dry as a bone for weeks now this fall. Rain is in the forecast so we're about to see how they handle the water and mud. I'm not a fashionista, but I think both the black and electric green pairs I have look great. Home run for me, I've found my forever shoes! Thanks Keen-

Rolling along

Love. The Keen Curve technology, helped my walking as I have nerve damage in one foot and it would slap the ground with every step, in other shoes causing pain, not so with these Thanks Rich

Shoe Felt Great

The shoe felt great and very comfortable. The only downside is the color selection. The shoe design itself looks great and was let down by the color selection.
