so perfect for bad weather
was on a thru hike and ran into bad weather. was not set up to make a fire in a t storm and this meal was perfect as it rehydrates in cool water. i was able to fill it up with water from my hydration bag and had dinner ready to go. from now on, I'm always going to keep one or two of these on hand! it helps that it was delicious too!

Amazing cold soak option

Ate this on a rim to rim of the Grand Canyon when I needed good food but was NOT wanting hot food. This was delicious!! One of the best backpacking meals I’ve had. I am vegan and I also was at the end of a rim to rim so both those probably had a factor, but my non vegan boyfriend loved it too. Great option for trips when you need some fast food meals!!

Finally a good cold soak option!

This is such a cool backpacking meal option. I found it easy to rehydrate and was really pleasantly surprised with the texture. It still has a bit of crunch but doesn't taste dry at all. There is a lot of flavor in this. I was initially expecting more of an Eastern European carrot salad vibe but it's much more of a strong asian flavor. Delicious!

Delicious trail lunch

This meal could have easily been pretty good or pretty bad/meh, but it was pretty good! Rehydrated well with cool water, and the balance of flavors was nice. Good to have an easy, portable lunch option for the trail or field days at work that's packed with vegetables and nutrition.

Delicious

This was the best greens on the 3rd day of backcountry camping. I want to eat this even in my home!

Wanted To Like It :(

I did not like this one :( I love this brand’s mushroom risotto and the cold soak option sounded interesting, but it was far too heavy on the seaweed. I wouldn’t recommend this and will not be buying again.

Weird Texture - Not Buying Again

I followed the directions, but the texture was way off. Didn't rehydrate properly? Flavor was fine if you can get past that.

Yummy!

This was surprisingly really good! Very refreshing and made for a nice snack, that didn't feel as processed as others
