Work great

Anything will helps to keep them from biting
These do work to some point, however, if you have any kind of wind. It renders them a bit pointless. I use this as as a secondary defense against mosquitoes.
Cones vs. sticks
My husband and I have used the sticks for about a year now and love them, so we decided to give the cones a try. They are just as effective but do burn very quickly, especially if there is a breeze. I have used the cones in a small outdoor iron chandelier. It worked pretty well and was fun to watch. Overall, I do find the sticks more cost effective, you can put them out and relight when needed.
enjoy the outdoors again
Before Murphy's Naturals, husband would spray other products near door and in carport. Leaving the house was like walking through a toxic cloud, PLUS it didn't do that good a job of getting rid of mosquitoes. Now we burn an incense cone just prior to when we plan on spending time outside and are able to better enjoy the experience without getting mosquito bites or breathing fumes from sprays.
Hard To Evaluate Outdoors
Sitting at a picnic table in a campsite made it hard to evaluate the efficacy of these repellent incense pyramids. They are easy enough to use. The scent certainly smelled similar to larger citronella candles so im sure they repel. I can't say that no mosquitoes came for me anyway. Ill enjoy using the rest of the cannister before purchasing more.
Great for shorter burning times (Updated Review)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was initially bummed by these incense cones because I wasn't aware that the burn time was so short (20 minutes). BUT, the smell is lovely and they keep mosquitoes away! Personally I prefer the sticks, because of the longer burn time and the way the ashing works. But they're still great in a pinch!

Good for mosquitos and gnats
Lighting a cone and placing it in its holder on top of a box fan, and then sitting in front of the box fan gave us relief from those pesky biters during Arkansas’ worst hot, muggy bug season. And we know about bugs here! Finally there is a way to enjoy the evenings outside. Thank you Murphy’s.

I love the cones as much or more than the stick incense!! They are the perfect amount of bug repellent when you’re just sitting outside for a short amount of time like when you’re grilling dinner! I have bought and recommended Murphy’s products to everyone I know.
Just re-ordered!
I light these on the patio and use three or four each morning. Our back patio had gotten to where we couldn’t sit outside in the morning. Plus these have a wonderful smell. I plan to stay stocked and just ordered 5 more to get me through the next few months.
Smell is divine
