Perfect for longer runs
I’ve done two half marathons with this and had plenty of fuel to finish both races
Great flask but original hand strap was better.
2nd purchase of this product. This new design has 3 major cons compared to original, all to do with the newly redesigned hand strap. 1) The inside seam, probably required for the addition of velcro, is abrasive after a few miles. 2) The new "thumb loop" does not work. 3) Once the strap became wet it stretched enough to lose functionality. My solution was to remove, redesign and reattach new straps, but I wish HydraPak would go back to the original hand strap, because otherwise these flasks are great!
Effortless to carry
These bottles hold the ideal amount of water to reach the next aid station and are easy to carry. The flip cap is a blessing, as it prevents aid station volunteers (we appreciate their patience, support, and energy!) from losing the cap or giving you someone else's cap. I have not tested the insulation of the bottle, so I cannot determine how long the temperature is maintained. However, the fact that I have not noticed a warm sip of drink, I'd say that it performs adequately.
Cold water
So far I like this insulated soft flask. My drinks stay colder/frozen longer than without insulation and longer than another insulated hardshell handheld. I use it on hot days when I’ll be running for a few hours and it saves me from warm non-refreshing unpalatable water.
Strap does not fit large hands and no refunds.
I bought this wanting to try it, and the strap is unusable if you have large hands. I am unable to return it as the refund policy says it has to be in the same state you received it in. I will be sticking with my camelbak podium handheld.

Use it every run and it hold a good amount of water! I love that the fill is wide enough to fit ice cubes and I love the fact that it’s a bite top and not a squeeze and doesn’t leak when you do squeeze.
Works perfectly
Works perfectly. The handstrap is very convenient and well thought out. I thought it would be difficult to run with water but this is designed perfectly and I take with me on every run now!
Great bottle for running!
This is the best water bottle! I have used it for marathons and 100 milers! No blisters, no soreness, it is amazing! I love this bottle! Easy to fill!!
