Excellent workmanship and quality feel.

Excellent fit and finish. These are a bit heavier weight fabric which should hold up very well but not be hot inasmuch as there are ventilation sections along the inseams. I like the ratchet waistband so as to dial in the perfect fit and stay snug.

Loving these

These are great. The material feels durable. Have worn on several rides already. Rode a big alpine ride in them today, and they were really comfortable. Bought these and the Flexair short in size 32. While the new flexairs are much snugger and shorter than two pairs from a couple of years ago, and barely fit, the Defend shorts run bigger in the waist to the extent I have them cinched all the way and they are just a little looser than I'd prefer. But, the color, length, weight, venting, and 3 zipper pockets made them awesome over 32 miles in cool alpine temps today. 6'2", 185 lbs
