Was time to retire my aged Specialized double shorts, and I found these on markdown. Nice outer fabric, two capacious and secure zippered pockets, and well-padded liners make for a durable pair of MTB shorts; the price made it a drop-dead value. I have a fair bit of experience with Fox moto soft goods and have no doubt that these will go the distance. Personal observations - either I need to quit lying about being a 34 waist or get back to fasting. These are not liar's sizing - good thing for the closure design. In a perfect world there would be a phone pocket, but not dinging these fine shorts for that omission.
