Almost perfect

Replaced my old 15 year old insulated hooded jacket with this one. Had a hard time finding one with enough pockets & adjustable cuffs on the sleeves. This one is almost perfect. My only small complaint is the hand pockets are not as roomy as I would have liked - my thicker/warmer gloves are a tight fit to get in the pockets. Other than that, it's great. The 2 front pockets in the chest area are great - just enough room for my my large smart phone in one. The build looks good & feels very sturdy like it will hold up a long time. Medium size pretty true to size as described - maybe just a tiny bit large, but sleeves are long enough for me, which isn't always the case in medium sized jackets (I'm 34½-35 inch sleeve) and also enough room for a layer or two. Warm, wind resistant & water repelling all tested as described. I'm giving it a 5 star, despite the minor complaint about the hand pockets as the sale price/sale price was fantastic!

I love this jacket !

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I live in a place where when it rains it pours and my previous rain jacket turned out to be more of a wind breaker than a rain jacket which lead to me getting soaked any time I had to go out in the rain. Well I'm happy to say that those days are over thanks to this jacket ! The rain can't get me wet even in a full on downpour and I really can't wait for winter to see how those cold winds fair against it (my guess is I'll be warm and cozy. I definitely recommend this jacket especially if you catch it on sale

Finally a jacket that hits all the marks.

Quality jacket, fits well, thoughtful design, good placement of pockets, strong zipper (unlike those skinny little ones on others). Removable hood. Looks sharp. Light weight but warm. Can wear a light layer under if needed. Very pleased with my purchase.

Great work jacket!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the exact same jacket 3 years ago and the quality is still the same! Lightweight warm and tough. What more could ask for? Waterproof maybe but then the cost would rise. I love carhart jackets but they are just to heavy unless I’m rolling around on my back under a machine. Thank you free country for making quality jackets at a reasonable price

Excellent jacket

In Minnesota this is a light jacket, good for temps around 40-50 degree spring/fall weather. With a decent insulated sweatshirt underneath it you can brave the winter on most days until the temps go below zero. Over the last 18 years I’ve had close to half a dozen jackets of this kind from free country and they hold up quite well.

Really nice ski jacket! Just too large for me!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was thoroughly impressed with this jacket when I received it. Seemed to be well made and had all the features of much more expensive brands. I would have kept it except that it was a little too large for me (I'm often somewhere between M and L). But I will definitely shop Free Country for future outdoor clothing needs.

Perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered two of these coats to replace one I have had for a quite a few years that the zipper was breaking on. These coats are perfect for barn work, or everyday wear (which is why I purchased two of them). Actually, I have now bought 4 of them. Two for me and two for my hubby. The price was fantastic so why not.

Love this jacket! Well-built, heavier

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this jacket! Well-built, heavier than I thought (glad) and attractive. Seams, zippers, fabric (inside and out) are all excellent. I normally order medium but tried a small, fits perfectly. So they seem to run larger than normal. Like it so well I'm considering ordering another color of it. Highly recommended.

Perfect for winter weather

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a female but prefer the roomy fit of men's jackets and coats, so I can easily wear them over bulky winter clothes. I purchased this jacket to replace a puffy, bulky winter coat that I never want to wear or take with me. This coat is comfortable and has several handy pockets. I can wear it outside on a walk in the cold without feeling too bulky. I can zip it up to keep warm when it's really cold out. (don't need bulk with this great jacket) It's waterproof and does great in rain. The hood (detachable if you prefer) is great for getting out in rain and keeping my glasses safe from the rain drops (IYKYK). I even spilled coffee on my new jacket as I was carrying it out to the car one morning, and decided to wash it. I followed the tag washing instructions and it came out clean and like new. (It's still fairly new) This may be my favorite jacket ever. It has a lot of flexibility to various types of cold weather, but it is definitely warm enough for the freezing temps we've had in Texas this winter.
