Just what I was looking for...
Absolutely GREAT !!! Just what I was looking for. Something that was simple to use, left bread crumbs, and would allow me to backtrack. This works for me. And, price was great too. Delivery time frame was better than expected. No one in town had one. I did not want a watch - I've never been a watch wearer. Never wanted to be tied down by time.
Needs better software support
Wish it could sync with AllTrails like my other Garmin device. Wish I could start an activity/track recording from the Garmin Explore App because starting a track recording manually on the eTrex SE requires several button pushes. Otherwise, it's a very good device.
Works good but has limitations
Does not work with Google earth great device worked well nice to use your phone to control It can Leave in pack or pocket garmin explore app is great. Just a pain to transfer waypoints or files. Google earth would not recognize device spent hour on phone with garmin they had no resolution I returned item to REI
