Broken off boa
Broke on day 2. boa mechanism came off of boot. While I am familiar with the Boa breaking, this was jsut not well designed to keep the Boa system on the boot. I an imagine over this season, this will not be the first review to get down graded for this design / or factory flaw. Rendered my day over. Be cautions if you bought new bindings or had them adjusted to fit this boot. love the one hour I got to ski the boot, so comfortable and fit my slim ankles, finally it was a boot that fit so I might not give up just yet as my older boots and this boot are the same adjustments. What little I got to ski on, it preformed amazing, good response, I only whipped it up on one short run so all other was taking it easy.
Comfiest Boots with a Stiff Flex
I am an aggressive skier who is 5’6” and 138 pounds. I also have a moderately high instep and larger than average calves. These were the comfiest boots right out of the box. I have not worn them on the slopes yet, but I will report back once I have. My only issue is that in the store, they only had one pair left, which had the tags ripped off. It also didn’t come with the tool that adjusts the buckles, like most boots do. Disappointed to have spent almost a grand on boots that didn’t have the tags on them. It’s too late for me to return them, as I have already visited the store several times and need them this weekend.
Extremely painfull in shin area
I bought these boots end of season 2024, but skied for first time beggining of January 2025, when I experienced pain in shins, by the end of 1st day of skiing. However, I pushed myself to ski 2 more days, and ended up even with some swelling in shins. After that I had a 8day break from skiing but had planned 6day skiing trip upcoming. First day of this second ski trip, I experienced excrutiating pain, even with Sidas ski support socks (I was advised to use them in order to overcome issue with too thin tongue padding in the boots). After this first day, it was impossible to even put the ski boots on, from the pain they caused. I went to aki rental, rented Atomic Hawx 90 and thankfully, my week skiing trip was not completely ruined (as was for Val Thorens lady who left review as well). I am really dissapointed and don"t know what to do with these boots and they were quite expensive to start with :(
We are sorry to hear of this unfortunate situation, as the boots and shell are fully customizable to avoid any issues with fit and morphology. We would recommend consulting a technician as to adjusting the Custom Shell and liner to your morphology, as such resolving this issue.
Fabulous and comfy
These boots are bunion friendly, comfy, warm, have great foot beds and most importantly are responsive. Each nuance of the foot is reflected in the responsiveness of the ski. The season is early, but the boots have amazing potential. I am stoked.
Request 4 S/PRO Alpha 120 flex
Would love to ski this boot. Need it in an Alpha width. 98 or 97 last and 120 flex please!
