I Still Love This Anorak!!!
Super comfortable, warm, coxy and just down right awesome. I love the Hudson Trail Fleece Anorak. I loved my Anorak from last season so much I decided to have one more. I made a great choice. Great colors and design. I can wear it anywhere from going out to lounging at home. I got a medium this time around and fits perfectly. I love wearing a classic thermal long sleeve under it for added warmth and it looks really nice. Thank you Smartwool for quality products.
This Fleece deserves better reviews
I ordered the Ash Fairisle in a large, I was going to get medium but it was out of stock. I love having extra room so large was a good choice for me. I think a size up is perfect if you want to wear something underneath like I do. I think people should think how they will use this fleece on a daily basis to help decide on their size. Order your normal size if you wear it on its own, order a size larger if you want to wear something under it or just want a little extra room. That's my suggestion. The color was different than pictures but I'm prefer the color I got. I think it's better than the picture. Maybe I'm easy to please but I think I got good one. Very comfortable, warm and easy to care for. Washed it twice already and no issues. About it being warm, I was wearing it over a Smartwool 150 long sleeve on a cold 25 degree day. I was really toasty warm and getting compliments. I think I made a really REALLY good choice on this purchase.
Somewhat stiff and bulky
I did not like the somewhat stiff and bulky feeling of this pullover. I was expecting something really cozy and soft like you get with merino wool, but this had more of a "felted wool" look and feel so I sent it back.
warm pullover
It is a warm pullover although it is thin fabric. It tends to stick to inside shirt maybe because of static. I hand wash it to avoid pilling.
Received Very different color than on the website
I was really looking forward to receiving this fleece. I ordered the fair isle color, but when I received it the fleece looked nothing like the picture on the website. I still have it two stars because it is very comfortable and warm. I ended up going up a size after reading other reviews and am a little bummed I did because I think the XS would have fit a bit better. I am 5'2", 117 pounds pretty petite, usually wear an XS in everything
Great concept, mediocre fit
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the color block design! The concept of the hoody with pockets in the sweater type fabric fills a much needed gap in the Smartwool product line. Unfortunately I think it definitely runs small. I received a medium, and the arms were so small and tight I had to get help getting out of the garment. If I had sized up to a large or XL perhaps I would have felt like I could wear the hoody a lot more. #smartwoollove
Comfy but the color is totally different
I love everything about this hoodie,irs really warm, comfy and very light weight, but smartwool, you really need to work on your photoshop skill, the real color of this hoodie is way too different from the color you show on website.....Some people already mentioned about this problem on the other comments but yet you still not fixing it ... therefore, I can only rate you for 3 stars
Comfortable, but color was off
I really love this fleece and love how warm and comfortable it is. It is not too heavy while still providing a substantial amount of warmth. The only negative part was the coloring of the fleece I received was definitely not the same as the colors of the picture online. Otherwise, it is still a quality fleece hoodie
Super warm and comfy
I liked this pullover so much I ordered a second one. It's amazingly warm for how thin it is. The colors and pattern are much more muted than the photo which worked better for me. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is there is a pretty big gap around the neck so I need a scarf to fill in if I wear it outside.
Love this fleece!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this! I wore it outside to do yardwork right after it got delivered and it was perfect! I wore it with a tshirt which was fine but it would have been perfect with a base layer for a 40 degree Michigan afternoon. I followed the washing instructions and dried it flat and it dried really nice!
