I bought these boots for winter cycling. This morning it was 46F. On a 10degree descent with a light wool sock, my feet were slightly cool. Additional 50m biking on flat streets, my feet stayed slightly cool. With the GAERNE Winter Cycling Shoes MTB Mountain Biking Boots,, I would have needed foot warmer Hotties. Good wind proofing. If you cycle in colder temps, I'd recommend a foot liner. Thank you Keen
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the second pair of Kacy boots I have purchased. They fit well with thick winter socks and are super comfortable. I bought this pair specifically for travel because I can wear them while walking all day!
This is the fourth pair of Keen Kaci boots in size 8 that I have purchased. This pair seems to have greater volume and perhaps is a bit longer than the previous ones. In order to get them to fit more snuggly, I have swapped out the Keen insole withe another brand, and I have also had to add a very thin no-drop insole under this. For those who might feel size 8 is too large for me, I will point out that the 7 1/2 is too small. Still a very nice boot and one I can walk miles in, but I will reserve judgement on whether or not there will be a 5th pair in my future.
Warm boot, but a little too roomy for me. I do not like to do the size guessing game with multiple exchanges. I like my old Betty boots but it runs small for me so I size up to a 7.5. This boot was way too wide and too long even though I was wearing heavy socks, so I returned them. I like to walk a few miles every day through town. I live in Wisconsin so it can be very cold wet and sloppy. I thought these boots would fit the bill but they did not. I cannot have my foot slopping around inside of my boot for a 4 mile or so walk..
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my fourth pair of Kaci hiking boots. Love this updated look! First day I wore them and they felt like my old boots right away —before they wore out, that is! The new shoe support was heavenly right at the start. I walked seven and a half miles without any break in issues. No foot sores anywhere. I love the new version with the updated loops. I always wear a size six with Keen. Other companies I’m a 6.5. But I don’t like other shoe companies. I only wear Keens since i discovered them in 2017. Being a hiker someone was surprised I never heard of Keen. So glad I have now. Though I have a skinny foot, I like the wide toe because it allows for the natural movement of toes for balance and movement for long distance and speed. Keen—never stop making Kaci❤️ —I’d love an Oxford Kaci with laces if they ever made it, or with a bungee tie for quick going!!!
I wore these on a family trip in Norway. So comfortable and fashionable. We were up in the artic and on boats and trains and ice and snow. I wore them everywhere and never felt out of place. I just got them days before our trip because I couldn’t find my other KEEN Chelsea red plaid boots. There was no breaking in time they are very cushy comfortable. Make these available in slip-in and I would get them also. Love these boots!
This is a very wide boot. It felt clunky/chunky & I couldn’t secure my foot with any lacing trick. I understand that extra space is needed for warmth in a winter boot, but this was excessive. Cute pattern, but the fit was unlike my other Keen original fit boots. I’m used to wearing steel toe boots & these felt clunkier. Unfortunately returning. I don’t think a smaller size would fix the issue.
My very comfortable and long-serving Keen boots finally wore through the bottom at the end of last winter and the model seems to be discontinued. The Kaci III appears to be the same style as what I had. Happy to have come upon them and to have found them in my size. Sturdy, warm, and very comfortable right from the start.
These beauties required zero break in. They were comfortable right out of the box. I added an additional arch support insert and there was plenty of room. The thoughtful design of the laces means that you are in and out of these quickly and easily. Great looking on, comfortable, easy on and off. Yep, pretty much perfect!
I bought these thinking they would be the same as my pair from 5ish years ago. The leather is much more stiff and the footbed/sole isn’t as comfortable. Definitely more stiff as well. I guess I’m keeping them in hopes they will break in. Fingers crossed! PS I still have my old ones I just get new insoles!
