New bikes go through a normal break-in period, after which they should be readjusted. All bicycles sold at REI include free adjustments for one year after purchase date—as many times as you need. Included: derailleur and brake adjustments, lateral wheel truing, hub and headset bearing adjustments, tire inflation and chain lubrication. Great lightweight bike
Delightful ride, as usual! My first brompton was the B75 but the extra gears on this were nice for the hillier parts of the city. You’re paying for the folding aspect of the bike so it’s not going to go as fast as the larger bikes but it’s certainly great for a smaller person to carry around with ease. The lights were a nice surprise with respect to the REI sale. Lovely.
