I really like this Minimalist shell
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this because I wanted a minimalist shell for ski touring and hiking that wasn't too expensive (I got it 30% off). I love the blue color, how it fits over layers. It's waterproof and wind proof. Only 2 pockets , which is fine. My Only complaint is there's no hood cord. I'm glad I didn't waste $$$ on a fancy backcountry technical shell because this one is perfect and versatile.

Definitely need to layer underneath to stay warm, but in terms of keeping snow out, it worked perfectly! Because its "oversized" a bit, its perfect to use as a shell jacket on top of underclothing.
Too Large
This is a beautiful jacket, and well made. I am a size 8-10, so ordered a Medium. It was way too big, mainly in the arm length. The arms of the jacket reached about 4 inches below my fingertips. I'm sorry that I have to return it.
Perfect for any weather
