Cute but itchy
This is a cute sweater but is itchy.
Elegant sweater, well made
This is the kind of sweater I would knit for myself, an unusually interesting pattern. The workmanship is excellent. I bought both an XL and a L size. The XL (which I kept) is very large but drapes elegantly and shows my shape in spite of lots of loose material. The L fits closer but is still roomy. My bust measurement is 42" and I have wide, slender shoulders and wide hips with smallish waist. I returned the size L because the Sepia color wasn't what I want. The real test will come when it's time to wash the XL sweater. I'll handwash and dry it flat.
Was hopeful but the wool, ugg
I have several cotton sweaters that I like from Prana and really like them, I missed that this was made with wool. I was really excited to wear this sweater I am 5'2", and the others I have are pretty long on me. As far as style it is cute and the length was perfect I also liked the zipper. Although I didn't like how sleeves stuck out weirdly (wider than my shoulders)where attached to the drop shoulder. I might have overlooked this as otherwise it was really cute. The deal breaker is that it was really itchy!
Best sweater of all!
I bought this sweater in black as soon as I saw it. Purchased a size M but an S might be a little better. I’m short waisted so love the shorter length. The 25% wool content is not uncomfortable at all and I am very sensitive to any itchy fabric. This is an incredibly comfy, cozy and attractive sweater. I wore it to bed on a recent trip to Montana. A sweater to live in and I will probably buy the pebble gray sweater. Love the half zip and raised collar. I’m 5’ 7” and 137 lbs.
Lovely but a little short. Very fashionable & soft.
Shorter than what I’d like & falls back off my shoulders so when the zipper is open it doesn’t stay forward. But otherwise - if you wear the higher rise pants/jeans it would work very well with those. It’s also very comfortable & cute with the higher collar. I layer it over a white tank or a thin winter base layer depending on temperature. Even though ista shorter than I’d like, I’ve considered purchasing in another color and it’s the perfect layer under my Prana vest.
Great sweater for cold weather
So warm and cozy. I love the adjustable zipper and fits well. Would buy again!
Oversized
Really wanted to keep this sweater, but it was really oversized.
Versatile and comfortable
I wore this sweater for the first time on a Christmas Eve hike. I was warm outside in the early evening and comfortable indoors as well. Maybe it’s the combination of wool and other fibers that make this sweater versatile. I layered with a silk undershirt for a very comfortable combo . The size small is perfect. I usually wear a medium or small. For reference, I am 5’7” , square shoulders and athletic. I’m very happy with this purchase
Beautiful sweater with extra long sleeves
I absolutely love the sweater design especially the cables. It does run large in the yoke partly because it has raglan sleeves. The sleeves are really long as shown in the picture. When the sleeves are not pushed up, the bottom of the cuff hangs down to my knuckles. Since I know how to knit, I plan to shorten them by ripping back into the cables (above the cuff) and redoing the ribbing. The modification should be straightforward.
Great color, poor fit on arms.
I wanted to love this sweater, but unfortunately the arm area where the shoulder meets the sleeve is extremely pronounced, almost as if it had been stretched by a large hanger. Aside from that the knit feels more drafty than I expected for the price tag. I will say the color of the gray is phenomenal with little bits of color throughout, and if the arms were not so pronounced I would absolutely keep (maybe a defect?).
