The best watch I’ve ever owned!
This is my second Coros watch I’ve purchased (I bought a new one only because I wanted a few more features). The battery is phenomenal and I only recharge it every other week and that’s with daily GPS usage (it also charges very quickly!).The features are great numerous, the GPS acquires a signal very quickly, the face is easy to read (the backlight is great for my night runs) and they offer really cool options to change the background. It is very user friendly and quick to learn and use all of the features. The COROS app is very user friendly and designed very well-I’ve never had an issue with technical problems. I highly recommend this watch!!
Killian jornet edition
Great color & battery life. Use it mostly for trail runs, just completed copper canyon 80k. Didn’t charge watch all week & still had plenty of life left after race. GPS works great & loading routes & music is easy . Scratch proof. Half the price of garmin watch! Has almost same features. Very happy with apex pro 2
GPS Multisport Watch w/ Extended Battery
Finally a GPS multisport watch that doesn't require you to spend more time charging your watch than wearing it! For anyone who wants to enjoy all of the benefits of a GPS multisport watch and yet would consider sacrificing capability for a watch that keeps charge, this COROS watch is your solution. I've used the watch for six months on three continents and in all kinds of weather. It's my favorite watch yet!
Seems good for heart rate...?
This is my first watch of its type. I've used and appreciated its ability to track runs and bike rides, though the elevation data is routinely reported as 2-3 times what I actually did (e.g. 500ft -> 1300ft). The climbing features are simultaneously simplistic and clunky. Sleep tracking occasionally tacks on a few extra hours erroneously, and it's impossible to correct that. The watch misses a lot of notifications but also doesn't respect spam filters or the phone's "do not disturb" settings. Also, every single activity gets reported to RideWithGps as a bike ride, which is a problem for me as well. This website won't allow me to assign less than three stars for some reason.
Prefer this over my Garmin and Apple Watch ultra.
The increased battery life, accurate gps, sleek case profile, and easily digestible interface all make the COROS a winner in my book. I have an Apple Watch ultra and a Garmin, and am keeping the COROS. Highly recommend.
Good on trail and in the water .
I have this watch one weeks after my Vertix 1 . I must say that Apex 2 pro feels good - navigating is amazing- Hrv works well and heart rate too . Very happy with this watch so far.
Excellent Build Quality but lacks on Feature front
No doubt this watch is built like a tank but unfortunately it leaves a lot to be desired apart from that. My first gripe was instead of having multiband GPS the tracking is not as good as expected. My 2 year old Garmin Forerunner LTE beats it in tracking and the Apple Watch Ultra just blows it out of the water. The battery life is excellent. But it measures HRV only when you wake up and open the widget on the app and not overnight while you sleep. The heart rate is sensor is not very accurate unless you wear it on the inside of your wrist. My guess is body hair is the hindrance for accurate measurement.
Great watches and even better tech support
Do not hesitate to buy these watches / coros in general. The UI is very intuitive with the scroll wheel and I think better than my wife’s garmin. Plus battery life is amazing, and most importantly the after purchase support. I also have an older smaller apex I sometimes still use, and there was a software bug. Coros tech support went above and beyond and was able to find a fix within a few days. I’ve had much more expensive watches from Suunto etc. and while in my opinion those watches look the nicest, many of them have stopped being functional due to bad software. Can’t beat Coros value and functionality
Great watch
Fantastic battery life and all the functions and sports you could ever need
Overall Great
I want to start off at the top saying that I definitely recommend this product to runners that are looking for a reliable fitness watch that will not distract you with a ton of features you will rarely use. I have had this watch for a few months now to use during marathon training and I have to say that it was a significant step up from my original Coros Pace watch. The GPS is reliable and connects quickly, the heart rate monitor is as accurate as a watch heart monitor will get, without it spiking frequently, and the battery life is amazing. I believe you can use the GPS for up to 30+ hours without having to recharge the watch, and if you are not using the GPS, then the watch will run for weeks/months without needing to be charged. My one complaint is the durability: Within a month of owning the watch and the typical wear and tear, there are definitely visible scuff marks on the watch edges where the screen meets the band. This is a minor complaint for me, but for some people that might be more of an issue.
