light midlayer
Update: Ordered an XS and it fits perfectly! Guess it just runs a little big. Great lighter mid layer. I use mine constantly when it's too warm for an R1 and too cold for a t-shirt. I like this as a light midlayer for skiing or extra layer for running in the cold. I found the fit to be a little weird. I have a pretty athletic and not particularly feminine body, so this may be the issue, but it sort of sticks out at the bottom like it expects to go around hips that I do not have. I should have maybe sized down but then I expect it to be too tight in the shoulders. Still, I like it and wear it a lot. It just doesn't look very flattering on me.

This quarter zip is an absolute work horse in my wardrobe and outdoor gear. I wore it nearly every day all summer working outside in SE Alaska. It kept me warm under my raincoat or jacket, perfect as a pop on layer to take the chill off and doesn't make me overheat if it turns warmer. I have recommended it to most of the crew I work with. Despite the daily wear it is still holding up in good shape, and it has been in my rotation out if work as well. If you are considering it, you won't be disappointed. I wear a medium and it fits true to size. It is comfortable over a t-shirt or close fitting long sleeve and not bulky to fit under outerwear layers.

Light and Warm Midlayer
I just got back from a 82 mile backpacking trip with this as my midlayer. It's light, warm, and breathable, but still has enough wind resistance to be drafted into service as a top layer if the weather is nice. My main complaint - it dries very slowly. Even my wool had dried before this dried, which is weird for fleece. For most people, this isn't a problem, but it's a pretty significant problem in a piece of backpacking gear. It also was the stinkiest piece of gear at the end of 7 days, but that's synthetics for you. Overall I love the jacket and it'll be used in day hikes and short trips, but it won't be invited on longer backpacking trips again.

Terrific top
This is a perfect top for me. At 5’ 6” 135# it has enough room to layer something under it, plus it has generous sleeve length and falls nicely down to the hips, the material is breathable, soft, very pretty and the 1/4 zip neck is super comfortable. Perhaps a Small would be more close fitting but the Medium is perfect. It layers so nice under fleece, other workout clothes or a regular jacket.
Lightweight and warm
I love the light weight of the grid fleece, and was surprised at how warm it is for being so thin. My two complaints about this top are 1) the breast pocket doesn't work for larger-chested women. The bottom of the pocket lining is clearly visible right across the middle of my breast...not cute. 2) the "thumb loops" are centered over the sleeve seam, which is on the underside of the sleeve. No way to put your thumb through with out twisting the sleeve. I like the weight and warmth of the top well enough to wear it anyway, but if I had had the chance to try it on before buying I probably would have passed.
Best Mid layer
I had to get a second one. It's stylish, warm, and multi-purposeful. This is the comfiest and warmest mid layer I own. I've worn it under a puffy and hardshell on multi-day winter backpacking trips, where the weather went down to -20c, and I remained warm (maybe even too warm sometimes). I've worn it for snowboarding and skiing. Even just casually to and from class. Did not disappoint. I first ordered the Treeline and now Larch. The colours are great. I ordered a small in both. For reference I am 5'1 and 125lbs and it was a bit baggy but thats okay as I usually wear a thin baselayer underneath.

Perfect cozy base layer. Will buy several.
I typically wear a M in OR jackets, and wear a size 8 in most brands, but ordered a L since I wanted a bit of a baggier fit. The L is roomy in the ways I wanted it to be--a bit long in the sleeves to pull over my hands, sits lower on my hips, has some give around the midline--but is not too big around the shoulders. It's a cozy fit I'm already wearing around the house, out running in cold weather, and under some of my size M OR outer layers. The Lichen color is true to the photos. I prefer this to my R1 from another brand and will be ordering this in more colors ASAP.
arms are tight. Not as flattering as expected
The XS fits my body but not arms. The sleeves are too tight. If I go a size larger, the body would be too loose. I don't find it to be flattering, perhaps because my body type is compact rather than slender. Above all, this is not very practical. It's too warm for hiking in 60-deg plus temperature. On cold days it's better have layers and a jacket is easier to put on and take off than a pullover.
Yes, please
Brilliant Mid-layer. I'd love it a touch thicker but wore this paddling for five days over a wool tank or tee-shirt and was lovely and warm around 12 degrees, had to add a rain layer overtop for wind protection but was still very comfortable. And after five days I didn't smell terrible! Dried quickly when I got to shore for lunch too. It fits big so the small had plenty of room for me, 5'7 and 130lbs, I'd say this is the true "standard fit" with lots of layering options. Tried to order a second colour but the lichen wasn't to my taste!
My "Go To" for Literally Everything...
I just bought a second one of these because I wear the first one so often. I can't say enough about this top. I feel like it regulates your temperature, so it pulls heat away from your body when you're working hard, but keeps the heat in when it's cold. It's basically the unicorn of base layers (but it's so much more than just a base layer). I wear this for climbing and hiking during the Fall, or as a base layer for ice climbing and mountaineering. The thumb catches are a nice detail! 10/10 would recommend :-)
