Odd fit.
I returned this due to the fit. I’m 5’7”, 135lbs, with a 32C bust and built fairly straight up and down. The upper arm area was too snug and binding in the underarms. Layering with anything underneath was uncomfortable. The color, fabric, and design was attractive and functional. I’ve had better luck with similar OR fleece purchases in the past. This one I returned.
Love it but the Sizing is Off
Initially purchased in large as I wear large in most OR shirts and that was what the size chart suggested. WAY too tight! The arms were super tight, the shirt was tight across the chest, and slightly loose at the waist. Sent it back for an XL. Fit better in the arms and chest, but the waist was super baggy and a bit long overall. However, I love the fabric, color, and how the shirt performs when I am working up a sweat. It breathes super well, and doesn't stay damp very long. Great for XC skiing!
Size up
I ordered this in the Get Outside sale. If you have a chest, size up. Comfortable and a beautiful blue color. Just tight in the chest.
Great fit
I love this pullover so much, it fits me like a glove (I'm 5'8" and 115 lbs, ordered a size S). Many times the sleeves and torso length aren't long enough for me, but this one is perfect. I ordered the black one and it looks great. I wish they carried this product in more colors, though (only reason for 4 stars, not 5). I would love to order one in another color but don't care for the burnt orange look or cobalt blue.
KA-CHOW! Great for cold and damp!
Bought the vigor grid fleece half zip on sale last year and wow... right out of the package the weave texture hit me wrong, but then I started wearing it. And KA CHOW! I live on a boat close to Vancouver CA, and it's my go to second layer nine months of the year. The temperature regulation/adjustment of this fabric is amazeballs! It doesn't look like it could do that, but it does! Looking for another color today. :)
Odd fit
The blue color is beautiful and I really wanted to love this top but the fit is odd. I ordered a large so I could layer it. The length is perfect (below hip) but the arm length and fit is off. They are way too long (2 inches beyond my fingers) and very tight from my biceps down to forearm. I am muscular and not fatty. The fabric is rough next to my skin.
Packs Most Punch in Smallest Package
I am an endurance rider (horses) and high altitude skier. This shirt is super lightweight and WARM ! The zip neck makes for comfort in a wide range of temperatures. The zipper chest pocket is easy to get into while in motion ( which I usually am ). I am constantly seeking the most versatile clothes for wilderness fun. I bought 5 of these !!!
Galaxy different from Amethyst
I purchased this in amethyst and loved it so I ordered it in galaxy, and was very disappointed. The amethyst is easy to put on over a thermal undershirt whereas the galaxy is difficult, because the amethyst and the galaxy seem to have different fabric, and the galaxy is smaller than the amethyst, even though I ordered the same size.
A great active layering piece
Super warm and love the color. Wore this as a single layer while running in 30F and it was perfect. My only problem with the grid fleece is that it's a terrible lint and pet hair trap. Any pet hair or lint will attach itself to it and I spend way too much time with a lint roller on it and it's difficult to get it all.
Comfy, warm and looks good
This mid layer is great for fall days when you're out but not very active as well as when it's colder but you're hiking or moving a bit more. I've been hiking in this as a mid layer under a puffy in temperature down to 20 and been comfortable. It also looks good as a stand alone. Highly recommend
