Deviator 1/2 Zip Is A Must!
This will be my second 1/2 zip because I think it’s absolutely stellar. I’ve used it hiking and skiing in colder weather. I really enjoy how it feels in my skin, soft but warm. A large breast pocket to store your phone… a big phone for that matter. This too shines in cold, blustery weather. I’ve been it multiple days skiing in 20 degree weather with wind chill. I love it so much that I purchased two for my partner during the friends and family event. Outdoor Research is my go to for all seasons. You just purchase one for yourself, you won’t regret itit.

Incredibly warm, lightweight, and versatile fleece
I purchased this product to replace an old, thick, heavy fleece prior to a backpacking trip. I cannot believe how warm the Deviator is, while remaining super light and thin. I wear it for multiple purposes - as a regular shirt, for exercise, or as an outer layer. My phone (and case) actually fit inside the chest pocket, and I always appreciate having thumbholes. I'm a slim 5'6" and the Small fits true to size. My partner liked it so much that he's getting one too!
Perfect for backpacking or day hikes
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Perfectly warm fleece for any adventure. I layered it with a wind breaker at the peak of the summit and it kept me warm the whole time. It's a light weight packable zip up fleece that I will be taking with me on my next backpacking trip. It runs a tad small but fits good and stretches when needed. This item is for everyone looking for comfortable or who's gonna be outside. I'll be recommending this product to all my friends and family!

Versatile piece of clothing.
Comfortable! Can be used as a base layer to go under a jacket or as a running top layer for those morning runs that start out chilly. Great fit! Does not disappoint.

Very flexible and flattering material that moves with you but also wicks moisture away. Great color, I highly recommend this for a base layer

Great for a mid layer
Purchase for my Fiancé and she loves it, she took it to Iceland and she said it helped her a lot

Your next go-to layer!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Deviator Fleece Half-Zip is a tremendously reliable "do-it-all" layer that will stick with you for miles upon miles. Whether you're exploring single track, rowing or paddling your favorite waters, climbing a mountain or going vert up a rock face, or just having lunch with some friends, this fleece has your back (pun intended). For crisp summer mornings, the Deviator Half-Zip is the perfect layer as it's incredibly lightweight yet holds in the warmth while remaining very breathable. Stretchy and sturdy enough to hang tough at the crag but stylish enough for daily wear. It fits wonderfully under any shell, hybrid fleece, etc. and will even fit comfortably under splash jackets and dry suits! Outdoor Research gave me this free product to try and my first impression right out the gate was how lovely the material felt. Not too heavy, not too thin. Soft! The chest pocket has a smooth gliding zipper and fits my phone when I need to stash it on the run. One of my favorite features has to be the THUMBHOLES! Convenient coverage, thin enough to fit under gloves, and low profile enough to not snag on anything when not in use or if you're not a fan of thumb holes in general. I used this fleece for errands, hiking, and while rowing on my local river. This layer can withstand light, chilly wind and will shed a surprising amount of water should you get splashed on the river or spill a bottle of water all over yourself. You'll still end up a bit wet, but I was happy that I didn't end up being totally soaked. It's pretty much everything I would expect from a layer like this.

Warm yet breathable!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This fleece is pretty dang warm, yet when you're working hard (aka hiking or getting sweaty) it releases moisture pretty easily. That being said - I live in southern Idaho where it's high desert and pretty dry, so most things dry quickly... however, I'm a pretty sweaty gal and it kept up with making sure I wasn't soaked in sweat. Of course, at points of contact with my backpack it still stayed a little sweatier. I've worn this hiking, walking the dog, to the office, and cycling - it's quite an easy piece to blend into your everyday life. It's stretchy to allow for full range of motion, soft on skin to stay comfortable all day, breathable without being cold in a breeze, and there's really cool weather-protective paneling on the places that would need it most (it's wind and lightly water-resistant on your shoulders and tops of arms). The weight of the fabric is great, and also seems pretty durable. This half zip is extremely well thought out for any adventure you might concoct for it. I found myself throwing it in my bag as my "just in case" layer quite a bit! (I work for the Forest Service and packing "just-in-case" items is very regular for my day to day). I would recommend this half zip to anyone looking for a long sleeve that can handle quite a bit of versatility for outdoor activities. I'm typically a size medium and found that it was a bit more fitted than I expected - so if you like a looser fit I would order a size up. The only thing I would change would be to integrate some wool into it for antibacterial/anti-stink properties, but that's also more of a personal preference. Huge thank you to Outdoor Research and ExpertVoice for setting me up as part of this free product testing program!!
