love this table?

Received our table today. It’s easy to put together, highly portable, sturdy, and light weight at the same time. It looks classy and cute, I love the color and the height. It’s the perfect addition to our camping set up, as we were really missing a table but didn’t want anything bulky or cheap looking. Really I love everything about it and the only disappointment i have is that there aren’t any matching chairs or stools available to go with it. I really hope REI plans to release some matching camp furniture and accessories.

Bit flimsy and hard to disassemble
Austin
Looks good, easy to assemble, and light weight for a table of it's size. However the rolling top connects via plastic expanding rivets, and I can see this breaking down the line. Plus those seem to get stuck. In fact I cut my wrist the very first time I was disassembling it because I had to pull pretty hard to get it to come out. I'd rather they just had thumb screws or some other mechanism that's easier to remove and would last longer.

Works great in the cabin!

We have used this as a temporary dining table in our cabin until we have time to build a more permanent set. The table is collapsible and comes packaged in a fairly sturdy carry case, so it was easy to transport via boat across the lake. I've been happy with the performance so far (cleans easily and is lightweight when we need to move it) and I also love the green color!

holds up great!

I bought the blue version of this table back in June of 2021. I’ve used it a ton and this summer it became an extra patio table that’s the perfect size for a board game. I just packed it away and it has held up beautifully, even after being set up all this time. It just needed to be wiped down and put in the bag. We’ll probably use it as an extra table at Thanksgiving. It’s surprisingly sturdy for a portable table. Highly recommend!

BYO Picnic Table? Yes Please!

With having a clam screen tent and floor, we no longer could use the heavy wooden tables at whatever site we booked. That was the main reason for the purchase. But after setting this up I can see us using this for many more applications, including at home in the backyard. Color and design are very pleasing and functional, it seems sturdy enough for six people to eat at. Fairly straightforward to put together and packs away nicely. We also own the camp prep table and this is much nicer to use. Now the downside to this table - it’s heavy in the carrying bag. So that eliminates bringing it to the park for a concert if you have to walk far. Ideally you have a cart for that type of night out. Lastly the roll top pieces are metal but connect to plastic, thin plastic that seems like it could be issue down the line. If you use this just for camping hopefully it’ll last you years. But if you use this weekly I can’t see those pieces standing up for longer than a year.

Great table for car camping

I love this table! I previously bought this same exact table a few years ago at REI when it was offered in a different color (blue) and have been so happy with that I’ve now also added this current one in green to our campsite equipment. We car camp, and we’ve used this table for 5 weeks cumulatively the past few years now on Fall car camping trips in the Sierras to Yosemite & Sequoia National Parks. We use one as a dining table inside a screenhouse and will now use the 2nd table for our propane stove and a prep table also. Easy and quick to assemble or disassemble once you get the hang of it, plus very strong and study. I especially like the strength and toughness of the steel frame. This table replaced a similar one I owned and used for many years that was very similar in size and appearance that had an aluminum frame, which was thinner and flimsier metal, and as a result, one of the legs on the aluminum frame developed metal fatigue and cracked/failed eventually. I recommend the durability and strength of this stronger steel-framed model as a result over those with an aluminum frame.

Fantastic picnic table!

I love it so much, I bought another! Fantastic roll up picnic table; decent size, and sturdy! Unfortunately both arrived dented, so I’m unsure who to blame — REI or UPS. Boxes looked in fine condition so it may be from the factory. Not enough to deal with returning and exchanging. This table is a lot better than the foldable one REI also makes.

Excited about this buy

I purchased the table this year. I'm super excited to use it while camping. I gave it a test run. After taking it out of the box I assembled. It's so easy. It's sturdy and the material is of quality. The bag will make for easy carrying and storage. What's not to like about the color - nothing boring about it.

beautiful color and looks sturdy

Receive the table today. Can’t wait to set up this dining table. The color is beautiful and saturated, which is not as bright as photos on the website. I can finally have my knee under the table without touching the frame. It’s a bit heavy but very easy to set up by one person.

Great Table with flaw arising after years of use

I have had this table for 15 years and it has been 5-star up until about 3 years ago when the elastic cord in the roll top started to give out and the assembly pins started slipping inside the slats, making putting it together a bit of a hassle. It's saying a lot that it has lasted this long for more trips than I can count, but "re-shock-cording" it would be very difficult. So now I am looking for a table without the shock-corded roll top to replace it.
