Sturdy & practical plate for camping & hiking.

Received free product

I used this for a fruit plate while hiking in our local mountains with friends. We loved the curved edges to keep food from sliding off, held plenty of heavy fruit , lightweight but still sturdy, Perfect size to fit in my small daypack, easy to clean, even dishwasher safe ( & microwave safe) . I cut the fruit on the plate & the knife did NOT leave cut marks so that’s a plus! I also made a hiker version of a charcuterie plate on another hike at the beach. We liked using a reusable plate rather than disposable paper or plastic plates. Better for environment & appreciate the plate is made from food-grade recycled polypropylene & BPA free! Great for camping & hiking . Some backpackers (such as PCT through hikers) may think 4.1 oz is too heavy for long distance use but probably fine for shorter backpack trips. Another benefit is the lifetime warranty!

Good enough, scratches easily

Received free product

Not to overcomplicated things: this is a decent plate. The curved edges are nice and keep food from falling off the side easily. It's also a good size to hold plenty of food. It handles the dishwasher and microwave nicely. My main issue with it is how easily it scratches: cutting a pancake with a butter knife left side pretty good scratches in it that even left some plastic bits on the plate.

Simple but effective

Received free product

Yes, it's just a plate. But there are a few things that set this one apart from others I have tried. It's made of polypropylene which is a material that comes really, really close to unbreakable. I twisted, thew, and dropped it with nothing more than a minor scratch. The back of the plate has some ribbing that do a nice job of providing a gripping surface, even with gloves on. It also washes off pretty easy. Overall this one is recommended.

Great for camping!

Received free product

This is a simple little plate, perfect for my camping kit. It reminds me of the tupperware plates we used for camping when I was a kid but it's probably 1/4 of the weight and takes up next to no space. Disherwasher safe for when you can't be bothered to wash dishes while camping, and microwave-proof. It's a multi-skilled little plate. Now I just need three more to round out the set!

Great plate!

Received free product

This is a great camp plate! Feels super sturdy, heat resistant, and has nice texture for gripping so you don’t drop your dinner into the dirt. Great for car camping, a little big for backpacking depending on how you like to pack. Great that it’s made out of recycled material too.

Good Quality!

Received free product

I'm enjoying using this plate so far. The color is nice- it's bold, classic, the edges have a nice topographic pattern, and doesn't show any stains from food. The middle of the plate is more of a matte finish, so I haven't seen much scuffing from using utensils yet. It cleaned up easily- you can't really see much wear or discoloration. I think the size is ample for a main dish and if you had anything else you wanted to serve with it. I wouldn't say this plate is amazing for outdoor instances where space/weight matters, but I will definitely be using this on all future car camping/outside trips. Plus side- it works great for the kiddo to eat off of at home, too... it's hit the floor and been through some wear and tear and is holding up great!

Cannot Recommend

Received free product

I am not a fan of this plate, and would not recommend it to anyone. The one positive feature that I would like to call out is the raised edge, which is just high enough to prevent accidental spills and keep food from falling off the edge of the plate. My most minor criticism first; the base material is a pretty slippery plastic, and was a little prone to slipping on smooth or uneven surfaces. More seriously, this plate did not hold up to the combination of hot food and plastic fork (yes, plastic!) that I threw at it. I'm pretty sure I heat my food up to normal temperatures, but after finishing my first meal on this plate I noticed that the tines of my plastic fork had left dozens of little dents and scratches on the surface of the plate. Based on this alone I will not be using this plate again. In short, unless you plan on eating only cold food I would not purchase this plate.

Solid camping plate option

Received free product

I like this plate. It's made from recyclable material and it has a high edge, which makes eating a variety of textures (chili, stew, rice, etc.) easy and prevents spillage. My personal tastes stray more towards metal and less toward plastic, but if you want a lightweight and eco-friendly material that's easy to clean or carry without worrying about breakage, this is a good option.

Durable camp plate added to kitchen set

Received free product

This camp plate is made from recycled polypropylene which made me curious how durable it would be? On several desert trips the past few weeks it has held its own with the metal plates that are normally in the kitchen set up for camping and backpacking. It's lightweight, wide enough to hold a full meal or two and is scratch resistant. Also the material is approved by the FDA and meets their requirements for food safety. In a pinch I used it as a cutting board for some sausage and cheese for a mid day picnic on a hike and it there was wasn't a scratch left just a few faint marks. I should say this was a pocket knife and not a chefs knife. The design is nice too where the out edges angle up so if your meal is watery it won't leak off the plate but be caught. The top lines on the edge make it easy to grab and helps differentiate itself from other plates. All in all happy to include this in the kitchen set up moving forward

Great camp kitchen addition!

Received free product

Great camp plate! Keeps heat from transferring to hands/lap if eating away from a table, easy to wash, and was able to nest with other kitchen items. Would be perfect if the brand offered a set for car camping, otherwise, great item.
