Good solid mug that you can clip or tie to your pa
Used this briefly with winter camping. Nice, solid mug that works well with hot fluids. The handle hole is nice to use to tie or clip to your equipment so you don't lose it.
Basically Your Average Camp Cup
I used this camp cup on a handful of outdoor trips and adventures, including some backcountry long-distance trail running, camping, and even some use at home. Overall, I didn't feel this cup was above any others I've used. The material seems very durable and likely resistant to breaking or cracking, which is great. And it is very light weight, which is excellent for backpacking. It has a little hole in the handle that you can use to attach it to your backpack via a loop or bungee. I liked all these things. However, I didn't love the slightly square shape of the cup -- most of my camp cups are circular/round, which allows them to fit over other round objects (water bottle, thermos, or other food containers). This one didn't quite fit over anything else, which made it a bit more difficult to pack away and store. I also found that hot/warm liquids (coffee, tea, soup) got cold really fast in this cup, especially when compared to my standard metal camp cups. I did use this in the winter months, so I was a bit grumpy when my coffee got cold right away. And to be honest, the little handle was hard to use when drinking from this cup (would probably prefer no handle, even thought I know it would mean losing the hole for attaching this to your pack). Overall, it's about average. But I think I'd stick with the traditional metal camp cups (just as durable, keep things warm a bit longer, and their round shape makes them easier to pack).
Thoughtful Lightweight Camp Cup
Plenty to like here. The cup is lightweight, durable, and ergonomic. It is stackable, which makes it a nice option for space saving in a camp kitchen setup. The handle is nice for sipping a hot beverage. The ridges and topography etched on the outside give the cup some character. The inside of the cup has marked measurements going from 100 mL (~1oz) to 350 mL (~12 oz). These markings can be hard to see (especially those toward the bottom of the cup) without using a headlamp or light of some sort, but for an unnecessary but welcome add-on feature, it's a minor gripe. If you're looking to put together a camp kitchen, a few of these would make a great addition.
Excellent camping cup!
This is such a fantastic cup. I have tested several camp cups over the past few years, and this cup has quickly joined the ranks of my favorite cups. It is lightweight and durable, for starters. Moreover, what I appreciate the most about this cup (as opposed to other camp cups) is that the cup won't burn your mouth if you are drinking a hot beverage, and thus you don't have to buy an extra lip guard for the cup (as you have to with others). I took it on two trips and used it extensively, and it's still in great shape. I highly recommend it.
Awesome camp cup!
This camp cup is the ideal size for the campsite. I’ve only experienced collapsible cups so to have a sturdy, solid cup is a game changer! There are measurement marks on the inside so it can double as a campsite measuring cup. The square shape is very ergonomical and comfortable to hold. If it can’t be packed into your bag, there is a hole suitable for a carabiner so you can clip it to the outside of your pack. This will be a campsite staple from now on!
Lightweight and Dishwasher Safe!
I really liked how lightweight the cup was and how durable it appeared. I made coffee in it and the plastic didn't get too hot for the cup to hold. It also held up well in the dishwasher and made cleaning a breeze! The design on the side was pretty cool too; I liked the hole on the handle to make it easier to attach to a pack.
Affordable Lightweight Cup
It's very light and VERY affordable but that's really about all I can say about this. It's a cup, nothing more nothing less, but it's certainly nice if you want a reusable option. It's designed as a cup to use for camping but I did wind up using it at home for cold drinks. The hole on the handle is nice because I can put a carabiner on it. While the handle is small, it's not as uncomfortable as I thought. Unfortunately, it has a temperature limit of 160F so I wouldn't put boiling water on it so I'ma little cautious about putting hot drinks in it, which is a shame because I love drinking tea when I go camping or backpacking. Anyways, I'd still recommend it if you are looking for a cheap cup for a last minute summer camping trip!
Great for tossing in, super light
I used to be a die hard anti cup person. I don't usually drink anything other than water when I'm camping so I only ever used my nalgene. That being said I bought this with me on my recent backpacking trip and loved it. I may be converted to a pro cup person. I really like being able to see the measurements, perfect for adding the right amount of water to cold soaking food or measuring out water for a dehydrated meal. The hash marks on my trusty water bottle fro longer make it easy to read so having a measurable cup is perfect. Thick enough for hot beverages, nothing too fancy, exactly what you need in a no frills cup. the only thing I would change would be to make the space between the handle and mug slightly larger, I found the liner gloves I was wearing made it difficult to grip the mug due to it being a tight fit.
good mugs but don't stack well
the cups are a good product. I got 4 to keep in my camp kitchen and they take up less space than the metal-enamel mugs that came with my other dishes. they just don't stack well like they look like they should in pictures. they only go halfway into the next cup and the handles get in the way. they could just be improved if the shape was adjusted so they take up less space in a chuck box or while taking friends for coffee on a trail.
Plastic cup
Plastic cup, it’s decently thick. Handle is flimsy!
