Overrated
I keep wondering what I'm missing when reading all the 5 star reviews. The handle is way too small; I can't get three fingers in there like I can with a regular coffee cup. My ring finger is below the so-called protective rubber thingies, and the handle really can get hot. And my knuckle almost always hits the cup itself, which is even hotter. This makes holding it unstable. Of course, I solve this by drinking with a glove on my hand. I sure don't plan to use the cup over a stove, as some suggest, because those rubber thingies on the handle are bound to melt at some point. Maybe I'll learn to love it, but right now I plan to carry a heavier cup for greater coffee enjoyment rather than use this.
Great, light weight cup that
Great, light weight cup that has survived checked baggage and being crammed in a backpack for weeks. I just purchased a second for my partner. Even though you can use on a camp stove, I don’t advise using on a direct flame as the handles get very hot. Would recommend to anyone looking for a rugged lightweight designed cup for backpacking, camping, or keeping in a vehicle.

Perfect! MSR sure got this right. These kettles can be used for boiling water and cooking food. Nest perfectly within each other for compact storage. I own all the old style kettles, but these are better.

Great cup, super light and transfers heat very quickly. Amazing for cooking up a quick batch of morning oatmeal directly in the cup, since you can cook right in it. The silicone lip actually does a great job, allowing you to sip even while the cup is hot.
Simply the best
The best ultra light cup for backpacking. Handles are nicely designed and stable when opened. Super light and durable. More importantly it does not change the taste of the liquid when having hot drink which is a downside of cheaper titanium cups.
Great but wish it came with a lid
Big fan of the lip and handle guards! Super lightweight and I feel better about drinking from this than my previous plastic cup! Wish there was a silicone lid you could buy to prevent dust/dirt from getting in.
