I was so excited for these boots, bought them for an early season Rainier climb, wore them around to break them in with no issues... However the zipper broke in the parking lot before the climb. We used pliers to reassemble it, but the zipper kept splitting anyways.
I bought these boots, then got injured before I could try them out for ice climbing. They run narrow and long, so not really good for people with wide feet. The built-in gaiters are also too tight, only good if you have really thin calves. The laces are too smooth and slippery, so hard to keep them tight enough for ice climbing--they loosened over time. And these aren't too warm either, my feet got cold while ice climbing. Overall, I do not recommend them unless you have thin narrow feet and thin calves, and don't intend to use them in very cold temps.
