Features

  • SKATETECH helps bindings bypass the middle of the board, directing energy to the edges and transferring more power with less work, so your feet stay relaxed and comfortable
  • This prevents you from having to crank your straps down hard, ride with more forward lean, or run taller and stiffer highbacks to minimize energy transfer when baseplates flex
  • Hanger 3.0 is more aired out than its predecessor; bushings are set 3 mm closer to board edges for increased energy transfer; drop-down medial wall adds ankle mobility
  • Asym FRS ankle straps feature a single-injected strap design that molds to any type of boots, prevents pressure points and has the right amount of flex
  • Asymmetric ankle-strap design with Flipit function—choose between freeride or freestyle mode—and Power Spine for additional support and comfort
  • Women's Pro Grip toe straps provide anti-slip performance
  • Asym FR highbacks have an asymmetric design that follow leg angles; lateral hook add support and power; top highback flare eliminates calf bites
  • Combo mounting disc is 2x4, 4x4 and The Channel® compatible
  • Hinge connectors allow straps to move more easily out of the way; stop mechanism prevents floppy straps
  • PA-66 carbon buckles are made with high-grade composite carbon fiber that's extremely light and strong, reducing overall buckle weight by 20%
  • Included medium bushings (45 shore) offer not only an excellent response but also a smooth ride
  • Flex rating: 6 (on a scale of 1 to 10, soft to stiff)
  • Manufacturer offers a lifetime warranty on all baseplates and baseplate components and a limited warranty on all other parts

not quite sure of quality, time will tell

Based on the price of $329, I expected the straps to be higher quality, I'm hoping it just looks flimsy and that the actual product is more like vinyl wrap (fabric almost) and not cheap plastic that looks like its about to break because its in an area of high bend high use, see images I added. Granted I haven't bought bindings in over 20 years, and my last one was heavy with metal base (20 yrs old) in the back and does not have this bend in such an illogical spot (its like at the weakest point of the strap when removing your boots the binding flips over like a door hinge, maybe that's the purpose but man, the area is so thin I could snap it off? ) I got a new board and wanted lighter and more stylish, so I'm giving this a try based on a video I saw. I hope I don't regret this purchase, I bought two one for myself and one for my daughter hope it performs better than the piece of strap I cant get over for the price.
