Perfect fit for my body type!
I have been on the search for the perfect "curvy girl" friendly bibs, and these fit me like a glove. I'm 5'11" and usually wear a size XL - XXL in bottoms, but more of a L in tops, think triangle shaped. The slim fit of these bibs work great for me. I tried on an XL and they looked and felt perfect, but ultimately decided to size up to XXL for extra room as a new snowboarder whose going to fall, alot. They have a feminine shape, hug the bum and tapered in at the knee, and don't give me the illusion that I have tree trunks for legs. They have a nice stretch and construction feels like it's going to hold up and keep me warm. Would love to see REI carry more options for women in these bibs!
Finally found my bibs
I have tried at least 6 different pairs of bibs and I have found a reason to return every pair. This is the first pair that is checking all the boxes for me. The fit is great and they are slightly heavier material than just a thin shell. The drop hatch works like it should with double buttons to make sure that don’t come undone and unravel on the hill (I’m looking at you Patagonia). The pockets are roomy so you can keep your phone close to your body, they are comfortable to ride in. Have not used in super snowy conditions yet, but for fit and function these are awesome. Burton has another style of women’s bib and those were ill fitting on me, but this style is perfect.
