Major defect on these shoes.

I wish I could give these shoes 5 stars. I've worn and loved Adizero Adios for years. The fit and comfort level of this shoe is just amazing. However, I've only been wearing them for less than a month, with maybe less than 20 miles on them, and they have multiple wear holes in the the top mesh area. Hoping the next series is built better. I don't even understand how these shoes could have made it past quality control.

Bad investment

Very disappointed, it lasted less than 2.5 months then I saw holes on sides of the shoes (I only use it for daily walk around the city). They were too stiff and felt too thin in the first days of wearing, got better and felt good for walking. However, they are poor quality and not durable at all! I hope more shoe stores open their repair shops because I want to keep and use my stuff as long as possible

Not fit for purpose.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very disappointing. I bought these for my wife as a mother's day present. Initially we were impressed by the shoes, so light, so comfortable, etc. But after a couple of months the fabric started to break on the side of the shoe. She uses them for running no more than an hour 2 or 3 times a week and they are now on their way to the bin.

Disappointed

I love these so so much however I’ve only worn these to my desk job (I don’t even run) and they’ve completely ripped apart at the seams of the mesh after only a few months.

Worst Redesign in Shoe History

My love for Adidas has come to an end. I have purchased 2-3 pairs of the Adizero Adios every year since the 3 was out. This redesigned 7 is horrendous. I loved the previous verisons for their simplicity and lightweight. These are clunky, chunky, heavy and just awful. The new material and design of the tongue has left blisters. Many other loyal Adios runners that I have spoken to have all had similar complaints. This is really disappointing for me because I have loved the Adios for years, but I am now on the hunt for a new replacement... Bring back the previous versions and I'll come running back, in my Nikes, tail between my legs. But until then....

blisters

I was so excited to try out this shoe. I run without socks mostly on the treadmill so I wanted something lightweight, very breathable (mesh upper), good traction on a slippery treadmill belt, and didn’t rub. This hit all of those except the last. The mesh is exceptionally breathable - you can see your toes through the top of the shoe - but it’s very stiff and hard. Ribbed my toes raw within minutes and will not soften (it’s almost metallic feeling). The back of the shoe also has little by way of padding on the ankle. For me it only rubbed a little bit for most it will likely feel uncomfortable. Great price at REi tho.

Lightweight, no nonsense fast run/tempo shoe

Really simple, lightweight running shoe that’s great for 5k, 10k, tempo runs anything where you need to feel like you haven’t got anything on your feet. I take a size 6.5 and was unsure from reading reviews whether to size up or not as some say they are small however I found that the 6.5 fits perfect for me. Colour looks cool and turns heads, definitely stand out in the crowd wearing these!

Let down by the flaw in FLYKNIT

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Please would you mind contacting me, as this is my second pair I have now purchased ... both pairs have split on each side of the forefront of the shoe, where its fly knit... I am not too happy. 2 pairs! and not too cheap at the time. Please let me know what I can do as I really wouldn't like to purchase my 3rd pair to chance it, but I do love the trainers itself.

stiff and don't last

I was so excited when I bought these, because they look stylish and seemed comfortable when I tried them on at the store. The first time I wore them on the treadmill, I noticed the upper mesh part is quite stiff and sometimes digs into my foot. After the 2nd time I wore them, I noticed that the mesh part had already started to tear apart. Unfortunately I was traveling so unable to return them. I continued to wear them (only 1-3mi runs on indoor treadmill) and the mesh continues to rip, so there are 2 rips on either side of the top on both shoes, but honestly now they are more comfortable since the mesh isn't digging into my foot. Overall very disappointed and would not buy again nor recommend.
