[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a great feeling shoe. It snugs me in pretty good, but... My left shoe shoelaces came undone in mile 5 of my 10-mile run. I think the only thing I would have to do is just get different shoelaces because these seem to slip easily. Also, my feet are a little thicker than most women's feet and I usually have to get a men's size to fit well. I felt like this was a little too tight on my right foot on my big toe joint and left me tender in that joint or a few days. I must mention I have rheumatoid arthritis, so that could have contributed as well. I am training for my 12th marathon, but will probably stick to running in these for a 3-7 mile max run.
I've been using the Boston running shoes for years, and ALWAYS go back to them. I finally found a shoe that works for my foot. Everyone has different foot styling and you have to find the one that works for you. This shoe is great for a wider toe box if you want a shoe that is more natural to the way a foot was meant to be! When you wear shoes that crowd toes together, you'll constantly have issues, and this prevents that. The light weight shoe allows for longer distance running without weighing you down, and still has that Spring back off hard ground. With each model, they tend to fix any issues that the previous model has had, and I appreciate that!
I am a big adizero fan with several other shoes of the line in my current rotation. This one unfortunately does not work for me. The fit seems wrong, and the top of the lace line, where it joins up with the heel collar padding seemed not properly sewn in place. My regular size was strangely too short while half-size up felt too big everywhere else. I wish the upper here was a bit more like that of the adios 9. Even the Evo SL feels more premium than the Boston 13. Make sure to try it in the store before you buy to ensure the fit is for you. It is a shame because the midsole is a big step up from the version 12, but I've ended up returning it for it did not work for me.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only gotten a few miles on these but they’re a great daily trainer so far. Perfect balance between firmness and cushion for me. This shoe lets me be myself when I run and is so versatile between easy sessions and tempo/interval runs.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great colour, great fit, great look, not the lightest plated shoe out there but I've been using them for long runs and they have plenty of support for that
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had to exchange these for a much larger pair. I purchased these a half size larger than my shoe size and they still pinched my toes. I sent them back in exchange for a pair that are a full one and a half sizes larger than my foot. Still waiting for my order 17 days after my initial purchase. How does a company this big screw up manufacturing this badly?
Training for a half marathon, perfect sneaker for the longer runs
Will buy it again! Great running shoes love the colour !
I’ve been in the market for a new pair of weekly training shoes, and after trying several options, I found that the Adidas Adizero Boston 13 fits the niche I was looking for perfectly. As a neutral runner, I appreciate that this shoe is designed without added stability features—it lets my stride feel natural while still providing a reliable platform. The cushioning strikes a nice balance: soft enough to protect my legs during longer mileage, but firm and responsive enough for tempo work or uptempo efforts.
