Stylish
Hi I bought two pair of these in size 10 from two different Sellers. The first pair fit snug Sole was great with one little flaw on the right Boot that made my Foot feel like it was bending out slightly, so I returned them. I bought this pair from Bogs, same size, they feel like wide Boots, I can feel the ridged Sole thru with my Feet. I am tired of returning them, so I kept them. They are warm, but I will have to find me an insole to put in there. I have worn Bogs while I was Farming and swore by them, unfortunately that is not the Deal any longer. I know everyone has a different experience Boot shopping with Bogs and their Products. This was mine.
Finally Found My Boots
I have a siberian husky that I have to exercise in all kinds of weather. Today it was -26 degrees with the windchill and I walked 3 miles wearing my new Whiteout Faded Boots. When I pulled them out of the box I thought I got the wrong boots. These boots are light and in no way look like they could handle winter in NH. The first time I wore them it was -6 degrees. My feet were fine with only one pair of socks so I tried them today with one pair of socks. My toes were chilly but warmed up as I walked. These boots are comfortable and true to size. I did add arch supports. I love how I can easily pull them on and off and as an added bonus, they are cute.
wonderful boots, my calves are too buff
This is my third pair of Bogs. I was very excited for this new style, especially for the new bottoms of the boot. I live in urban Minnesota and I walk a lot. The bottom on the classic mid wore out on the sidewalks, and I think this bottom solves that issue. They have a fine construction, like prior Bogs. I am going to return them because they are too big and because the shaft of the leg is too tight on my muscular calves. This is a common problem for me with tall boots. If they had a mid-height version of this style, I would buy those. I cannot praise Bogs enough and I am disappointed about the sizing, I will be watching for other Bogs styles ongoing.
Warm and comfy
I live in upstate NY just over the Vermont border and purchased these so I could comfortably walk my dog daily, regardless of weather - sometimes almost an hour. I wear a heavy pair of socks with them and my feet stay warm and dry, even in the coldest weather - like zero and windchills. The bottoms are so well made that it feels cushioned even when walking on the road. Love that I can just pull them on - my other winter boots are ties and can be a pain when my dog is waiting for me to get ready to take him out. The uppers are roomy enough for me to tuck in whatever pants I'm wearing. Would definitely recommend these boots.
BEST Winterboot I've ever bought!
Best winter boots EVER! I was leery of spending money like this, but these boots have paid for themselves in warmth, comfort, and durability. We've had a horrible winter here in the Midwest with temps getting below zero °F and wind chill being at -20 below. My feet were never cold at all. I go outdoors about 8 times a day tending to my dogs, & the boots have kept my feet warm and dry even through rain, slush, and snow. They are worth every penny :-) And they are so stylish, I love them! They are true to size, and have a generous width for wearing socks. Skinny legged jeans glide right in with minimal tucking. Perfect!
Is it different material???
I have always lived Bogs and my last pair lasted like 5 years. Just this year they cracked and started to leak. I was bumbed but what other boots are gonna last you that long so i think 5 years is GREAT to get out of one pair of any shoe. I did order a New pair recently same style just a different color because they were the only color in that style available in my size. I received them and They just don't seem to be made as well. They feel very thin , the insoles wanna come out every time I take them off and the feel much lighter than my older ones. I guess time will tell if there of the same quality. Not a deal breaker just lil disappointed in comparison to my older ones
So easy to pull on and off
I put these on 3 1/2 hours ago to go to our grandson's basketball game, and even though I am home, I still have them on, so they are comfortable enough:) I walked about a mile in them at a outdoor Christmas market last night, and my feet stayed warm. The temperature here is currently 1 above. I am only giving 4 stars because I always wear a 6.5, so I had to make a decision to size up or down. I went down to a 6. I would like a tiny bit more room in the toe width, but the heel is loose, so I know the 7 would be too big. I really wish they came in half sizes so I could wear my heavier wool socks.
Women's 12 cute and lightweight.
I have had my other bogs for 11 years and love them. Everything form wading into rivers to snowshoeing and mucking around in mud and with the horses. The boots are amazing. I finally decided to get new ones. I LOVE that I could get these in maroon, as that's "my color", especially in a women's 12 (euro 43). The new model is even lighter and they are more fitted than the classic style. I have pretty muscular calves, and they are just loose enough, thick socks/pant legs fit inside comfortably. Not sure they'd fit if you usually get wide calf boots. Love them and I tell all my friends about them.
Comfortable and toasty....for a time
I would like to say that I fell in love with these boots! My feet were toasty warm, so warm that the were almost sweaty from the calf down! Loved it! I wore them a lot in the winter , they were waterproof and tall and perfectly stylish. Now the drawback is this, after exactly ONE year, they wore out. I noticed my feet started getting cold and they felt wet and sure enough, the insoles were damp and cold! For the price I paid, I expected them to last MUCH longer. I looked to see if there was a warranty, and they do which is fantastic, but it's only for 1 year. I just happened to be 3 days too late for the warranty, so now I'm stuck with boots that are really worthless now for the winter, bummer.
New Bogs, Old Story
I just bought the pair of Bogs that I was asked to write a review for. They seem great, but what I really want to talk about is the pair of Bogs I had for 15 years. For 15 years of Vermont winters, springs, and falls, I wore those handsome plain black Bogs, and they kept my feet dry and warm every single day and night. The only reason I had to buy a new pair--the pair I'm supposed to write a review of--is because my new puppy chewed up my old Bogs. If my new Bogs are anything like my old Bogs--Bogs is going to run out of business!!!! JK. Well done, Bogs. I tell everybody--and I'll be back.
