Bag works fine, not enough attachment band options
The bag is a nice size for taking food and supplies on long, remote rides, without needing a rack and panniers or a backpack. I ride a Cannondale Topstone with a tapering top tube. Roswell supplies three attachment bands for the top tube and two for the down tube, and each set contains identical bands. Since my top tube tapers, this meant that some of these bands had to get stretched beyond the stress they were apparently designed for, and one broke. This product could be improved with a few extra bands to accommodate different sized bike frames.
Great bag, bad rubber attachment straps
I really like this frame bag, we were using it on a tandem with unusual geometry. But, and that is a big but, the rubber retaining straps broke within a couple days of use. Of, course the bag is worthless if you can’t keep it attached to the frame! I figured the company would just send me some new and improved rubber straps so I emailed them… well I’m still waiting after a week. Thank goodness I bought it at REI, I’ll return it for a full refund. What a shame, it is a nice bag. Be forewarned….
Rubber strap failed after 6 months
I bought the frame bag to match with the top tube bag. The rubber strap broke after 6 months. I have tried to replace it but Roswheel does not sell them. If they fail you are stuck with a bag that does not attach properly to the bike
Attachment bands are not up to the job.
The bag itself is nice and holds quite a bit considering it's sleek design, but the attachment bands are not strong enough. The second time I used the bag, one of the bands broke, and extra bands are not provided.
Good bag, bad straps.
The bag is good, and holds a good bit of gear, but the rubber straps broke in a few months.
