My boyfriend and I just picked up our bikes yesterday. We are really happy with our purchase! It's a great starter bike. We rode it for a bit with no problem. The only thing we recommend is getting a new seat or a padded cover. I found the seat pretty uncomfortable. Especially, after quiet a bit of riding.. I'm also new at riding, so it could be a mixture of both. I'm thinking of getting a wider seat. Overall, it's a great price and it's good quality. We're trying to get our relatives to join. Haha. Our plan is to do trails once I get used to it.
Awesome entry level MTB. 1x drivetrain, and easy to run dropper post, hydraulic brakes. I upgraded tires, but not sure if that was necessary. Just my preference. Bike was shipped to REI a day early which was awesome. They did a final purchase tune up right in front of me. Would 100% recommend and buy another bike. I got the bike on sale which made this even better
A great bike to start riding again! Hadn't ridden a bike in five years and after surgery I wanted to get healthy again. This is my first experience with 29" wheels and at first the bike felt like I was trying to ride a monster truck. This bike rolls over any terrain with ease and feels very comfortable as I am a larger rider at 6' 2" just under 300 lbs. Initially I was concerned about the quality of components and my size but the bike is holding up better than expected. As most riders do I did change out the saddle. My only gripe is because of the 29" wheels the XL frame sits a little taller and therefore the stand-over height is higher than what I would expect for a mountain bike. This is not a deal breaker as I do not plan to ride challenging bike trails but mostly XC single track and other surfaces. Things I like: 1. A great buying experience and excellent customer service! The bike shop folks are super helpful! 2. The bike feels large which is great for a rider like me. 3. Keep It Stupid Simple 1X drive train! Built for climbing! 4. Easy to use bike tracking app from Cannondale!
My husband likes his new bike! It is well built and comfortable to ride. Handles the hills he rides every day.
I really like this bike. No words! Amazing quality. I just a bit confused that we didn’t get any rewards after purchase such an expensive item. Just $0. I’m confused about REI policy 🤷
Didn’t even get to try the bike, so I guess my review is more for the size chart. Based on the chart, I need a medium. Neither my husband (5’9”) nor I (5’6”) could fit on this bike. I don’t know what we missed here, but it is huge.
