Features

  • Magnetic buckle with mechanical engagement ensures the bag won't accidentally open, even when your bike is upside down
  • One-handed operation—simply pull the cord loop outward for full top access; closing is a breeze with a simple flick of the flap
  • Closure is secure, but there is the possibility that small objects can come out of the bag from rough trails or laying the bike on its side
  • TPU liner is built from the same material as hydration bladders; liner is easily detachable for post-ride cleaning—no more sticky food messes after your long rides
  • Bag is designed to shed rain and spray; due to the large panel opening, it is not a fully sealed or waterproof bag
  • Side panels stiffened with high-density polyethylene plastic sheets
  • Wraparound panel is padded with EVA closed-cell foam
  • Interior lined with yellow fabric for greater visibility
  • Adjustable-height daisy chain front attachment with a spacer block to clear stem clamp bolts
  • Beefy top tube strap has grippy material with double back wrap for stability
  • A key clip is integrated into the bag

Good bag, great closure

This is a good bag. It sits square on the top tube rather than hanging to either side. The closure is excellent. It is easy to use while riding. Zippers tend to get fouled with gu type products when the used one is placed in the bag rather than discarded as litter. The one not so great feature is the side pockets with velcro closures. These are very stiff and not big enough to hold even a small cell phone, which fits in the main pocket. However, it gets gu on it there. the bag is roomy but maybe a bit too long as I hit is when I straddle the bike at a stop. Overall though, a very good product. The closure make it.

Great bag for easy access to snacks

This is a great little bag for all those things you might want quick access to like snacks, chapstick, etc. The magnetic closure is much easier and quicker to access than a zipper, so much so that I can access and snack on the move and I'm more likely to actually remember to eat on longer rides. If I was mountain biking I definitely wouldn't put anything valuable like keys or a phone in there as it's possible for them to fall out since it isn't fully secured like a zipper, but for non critical items like snacks or for flat rides it's fantastic!

great bag/poorly designed latch

I have several Revelate bags and I love them. I purchased this top tube bag for a Utah bikepacking trip with mixed single and double track. Day one was mostly single track and I had no problems. Day two involved a long climb on single track followed by a very long 6 mile steep descent on a gravel road. It was fast and amazing! However, I was horrified when we finished and I realized that the top of my new bag had come open somewhere along the descent and all of the contents of my bag had disappeared. That included my $50 rear taillight, my chapstick, and all of my snacks for the day. Thank goodness I had moved my phone from the bag and put it on my quad lock, or else it would have been lost too! I wasn't about to climb 3000' looking for my taillight, so it was a loss. I ended up using a $.50 piece of velcro to keep my $59 bag closed for the remainder of our 6 day trip. It's such a shame that the magnet isn't strong enough to keep the lid closed on this otherwise very nice bag. They need to improve the design of the lid clasp--a top tube bag is completely useless if you can't count on it staying closed.

Perfect bag

This bag provides easy access to my nutrition. I can fit my phone, wallet, earbuds, and a few gels. The liner is perfect in case you empty gel packets leak, cleaning is really easy.

Zipperless for the win

Nice Bag, and no zippers (I'm done with zippers failing me on the bike bags I own). Fits fine on a bike, probably better if your handlebars are on top of the stack of spacers (like mine is)--if it's 'slammed down', you might have issues (although the front strap is very low, so maybe not, but see following). Also only has 2 straps that secures to the bike, so not sure about how 'stable' it will be from moving around--but considering it's size and thus limited capacity, it shouldn't be too much of an issue.

Nice adjustable bag

This is a nice bag. My only beef with it is that it does not come off easily. Plan to mount it on your bike and leave it there. Other than that it's great. My favorite feature is that the strap for the stem loop is movable to a lower (shown) or upper position. The upper position works perfectly on my bike and holds the bag secure. It's big enough to hold everything without getting in the way. I approve!
