Absolute foot saver for high arches
I bought a pair of Blundstone boots in store and while I liked them, the shoe was so flat inside on my arches I knew it would be a problem. The sales person was like a magician: he took one look at my arches and whipped these out. I immediately loved the boots. I have bought MANY insoles over the years. None, even ones directly from a chiropractor, even came close to helping. They are typically not supportive enough, shift, or make the shoe too tight to be wearable, etc. Not these. Slid right into the shoe, no cutting. Gently slopes so it gives arch support but doesn’t make it feel like you have a hard ball in your shoe. After months of regular use and walking in my boots, no change in support or comfort. I will be buying more of these insoles for any future boot purchase. I initially balked at the price, but I am so happy with them that they are very much worth the price.

Not for me, nor my Altra Lone Peaks
I really wanted these inserts to work for me but they are too narrow to fill the toe box of my wonderful Altra Lone Peaks. I have other much less expensive inserts that can be cut to fit that are a better solution. These are going back.

No More Pain or Blisters!

I typically have pain in 3rd and 4th toe and the ball of both feet when hiking 3+ miles and I get blisters on the underside of my 4th toes because they get pinched by my 3rd toes (yes, my toe box is ample). So far I have done 2 hikes and a backpacking trip (roughly 35-40 miles accumulative) with these inserts and for the first time in years, I don't have those pains or blisters. It seems to make make toes align properly and not get painful or pinched. After one day of 16 miles with a pack of 29 lbs, my feet overall were tired and a bit sore, but that is, I believe, to be expected and not a result of the boots or inserts. They have some arch support which I did not need so that feels weird for the first half mile or so but then I don't notice it. My boots are a women's 9.5 and I ordered a mens 8(7.5)/womens 10(9.5) and they fit perfectly, no cutting required. I love them and am ordering a second pair now so I will have them on hand when it's time to replace them (I prefer to replace the insert rather than the boot).

Met pad

The metatarsal arches in these Sole insoles were a requisite of my podiatrist as my flat feet have recently lost the last of the forward arch. Have not used till my next M D visit, but these are comfortable and don't take up too much room in the shoe. Also like Birkenstock footerbeds. 9.5 wide Hoka fits with 8M/ 10W but trimming a tiny bit off at the REI store.

Maybe not my best choice

These come with a claim to alleviate several issues I have with my feet. I have them in a pair of Zamberlan Vioz and have walked a little over 100 miles so far. So far, I can't really tell much difference between these and the Spenco Total Support footbeds I've used for years, other than to say the Spencos had better cushioning. The arch support on these seems decent enough but I do feel a hot spot between the ball of my foot and big toe and that is troubling. It's possible that I'm still breaking them in as the company does say it takes a few wearings before they mold to your feet. One hundred miles should be enough for that but I'm going to give them a few more walks before changing them out to Spencos. It's silly to keep using them if I'm going to get blisters. Sole is a new brand for me and I think for REI as well but I haven't shopped for new foot beds for a couple of years so they may have been around longer than I think. I won't say don't buy these but if you have a brand and style that you have used successfully and you trust them, it might be better to stick with them.

Best insoles for the price.

I love these insoles. They help with my plantar fascitis, shin splints and tendonitis. They seem a bit pricey but in comparison to other insoles in their class the price is fair.

Great inserts

I have ordered and bought sole inserts with a met pad before and they are really a good product. I have flexible arches and these are lightweight and stabilizing. I use them for hiking and when I will be on my feet most of the day.
