This size chart is meant to be a guide only, as Danner styles are built from various lasts that fit each foot differently. Generally, most people size down a half to a full size when buying Danner boots as compared to their shoe size from other major footwear brands.

Looks cute, very uncomfortable
I found these boots very uncomfortable. The sole is very hard. In addition, although my size was correct from heel to toe, there were a lot of pressure points on the top of my foot, to the point that I only walked a few blocks before it became very painful to walk due to a sore forming on the top of my foot. In 45 years of shoe-wearing, I’ve never had that happen. I bought these online (which I usually avoid for footwear) but felt confident, since I love a previous pair of Danner boots (same size) for a good looking, comfortable mid-quality hiking boot - I was pretty surprised that a boot by the same company in the same size could be so drastically different.
Beautiful but stiff
I love the color of these and the overall aesthetic, but they are much more rigid than the other pair of Danner boots I had (Inquire Mid). I am used to more cushioning and think I would find these uncomfortable for extended wear. I have relatively narrow low-volume feet and these feel fine on my feet, but are definitely not something I will keep. They seem sturdy and well made, but these aren't quite what I'm looking for.
Great light hiking / "lifestyle" boots
I am taking a trip to Europe in the fall where I will be doing some light hiking (mostly footpaths) and I wanted a pair of shoes that also looked nice enough that I could wear them on non-hiking days with normal clothes. These fit the bill! Be warned that it does take a bit for the leather to soften up, they aren't like regular hiking boots. I wore them around the house for a while, then with my orthotic insoles in the house, then for short errands, then for a 2.5 mile hike. I like that they provide ankle support and the soles are rigid enough that I don't feel every rock. Also if this helps others, I have high arches so need room in shoes to support insoles. Since the laces adjust pretty far down, I was able to use them here. I also have pretty skinny ankles / calves so had no issues with lacing them up around the calf. I only took a star off because I wish the standard insoles were more supportive.
Really Nice Boot
This boot seemed stiff at first, but after a couple of days wearing it, it softened and is quite comfortable. It’s also cute. I like the height and the blue alternate laces (to the brown) are fun.
My most favorite boot
I wear these all year long. I can stand in them all day at work, walk around town, and wear them out and my feet still feel amazing. I have multiple colors.
