[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a spatula-ish spoon to use with my nonstick pans to be able to scrape stuff like sauce out better than a regular plastic serving spoon & this utensil does a great job! The only thing you have to be careful of, if you're using nonstick, is not to scratch the edge of the pots or pans with the handle, which is made of curved metal. It could probably do some damage to the finish if you're not careful. The little loop on the end is convenient for hanging, but keep in mind that it's made of rope/fabric, so it doesn't dry out for a while. It washed up pretty well in the dishwasher, too. All in all, a useful kitchen tool for my needs!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm impressed with the quality of this spoon. I like that it's safe for all types of cookware, especially for non stick pans. The bowl of the spoon is a strong silicone, and I particularly like the shape of it. The front edge of the spoon is like a squared off oval, so you can really get all the food out of the pan, even at the edges. The handle is strong, and the rubberized top part keeps it from slipping if your hands are wet. The little loop to hang it is a really nice idea, it makes it easy to keep it handy at all times. I think this is a great, strong spoon to use when camping outdoors, at an outdoor picnic or even at home. I highly recommend it.

The OXO Outdoor Silicone Camp Stove Spoon is a superior multi-functional cooking tool for camping (or at home!). It can be used as a spatula as well as a spoon. It is lightweight but has a solid look and feel making me think it is durable. I used it twice while camping on the beach in southern CA making scrambled eggs with vegetables for a breakfast burrito in the morning, and a one-pot beef chili for dinner. I’ve also used it at home, simply because I like it – I can see it becoming an indispensable part of my cooking repartee. The “spoon” cleaned up well with a little soap and water. And, it has a cute little red braided loop at the handle that allows it to hang for easy storage and access. My only suggestion is to perhaps make it in multi colors, just for fun.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my new favorite cooking spoon. It's got a nice weight to it that makes it sturdy. I haven't had any issues with it slipping out of my hand as it has silicone on the handle to help you grip it as well as keep it cool to the touch. The spoon part is a bit on the smaller side however that is one of my favorite parts of it. I find it allows me to get a decent amount of food in a scoop without going overboard. Also not to mention it's the perfect size for filling tacos! I use this almost every day I use it at home and out camping it's perfect. I also love that food don't stick to it. Everything just comes off with ease. It makes clean up easy especially when outdoors.

Once downside to consider: the spoon is large and heavy; certainly larger and heavier than the spoon it was replacing.

This spoon was great to take with camping. Recently I did a quick overnight camp and brought along this spoon. The silicone handle is comfortable to use and the size of the spoon is perfect for if you are cooking over an open fire so you don't burn yourself. The shape of the spoon makes this utensil very versatile. It is easy to clean and the loop makes it easy to hang from a pack or somewhere your camp. It is perfect for car camping or quick and short overnights, but it is a little heavy to take on longer backpacking trips. This spoon will definitely be in my go to bag for future trips and will last a long time thanks to its durability.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While I never did get around to using this spoon over a campfire, I will say that it is an excellent kitchen spoon. I love that it feels very sturdy in your hand when you are cooking. Also, it does not get hot to the touch if you leave it in whatever you are cooking for too long. I really love the fact that I can throw it in the dishwasher and it comes clean easily. It feels like a spoon that is going to last me a long time and it is large enough for cooking and serving. It's a great, high-quality spoon that works great in the kitchen and I'm sure it would work great in a camping situation as well.
