OXO  Outdoor 4-Piece Camp Stove Cooking Set

I used them at backyard, at RV, and, camping. The Tongs have a bottle opener! It was a life saver when I was not able to find the bottle opener. They are a little heavy so it would be good for backpacking. However we use them to grill at the back yard, park, and cook at camp and the park. They were pretty useful and everyone in the house loved them. The product are high quality, and its a good design. I really liked having the mat as a holder. it help keep everything tidy. The hooks are perfect for hanging them when need it.

I had hoped to get out on a trail this past weekend and give this kit a proper trial, after all REI gave it to me to do a fair honest review. Then we got hit with 8” of wet spring snow so I broke in the cooktop in our Tiny Bothy cabin and made hash browns. I’ve used Oxo products in the kitchen for years and they are always a great product. These are no exception. The silicone rest that doubles as a wrap to hold everything together is nice and worked well to grab the cast iron skillet handle too. The silicone spoon and spatula worked great with the cast iron and should work good with any cook set. A fun feature on the tongs is the bottle opener. I’m not sure that anything makes these specifically outdoor other than the cord loop but that’s a nice feature for sure. I’m not sure I would pay the asking price for these but at the same time I find nothing wrong with them. The wrap is nice but I’d like to see a stuff sack included with them to keep them clean in the pack and to protect other items if you aren’t able to wash them before packing. That’s something I can grab from my gear stash.

It is difficult to find a nice pair utensils for us to use on our grill. We came across this camp stove cooking set and we are so pleased. We love all 4 pieces! The silicone wrap is so simple to close and open back up plus it keeps all 3 utensils together with ease. It's a clean surface to rest them on while we're grilling and it works as a drip try too since it collects fats and oils from the utensils as well! The silicone material is very simple to rinse/wash and all 4 pieces are dishwasher safe! Each utensil itself is light weight. but with the grips they fit very comfortably in my hands. The spoon and spatula are simple to use and turn, and the tongs works effortlessly. We use the tongs carefully with our grill but the spatula we don't have to worry about because it's coated in silicone. Over all this is a nicely made set, that is very simple to clean, perfect for camping on the go, or even at home, and they're comfortable to use!

It comes with a spatula, serving spoon, a pair of thongs, and a silicone rest. Everything seems high quality and sturdy. The spatula and the spoon are stainless steel with silicone. The silicone makes the utensil non-stick and easy to clean. The thongs are stainless steel. They are the sturdiest thongs I have ever used. The end has a piece to pull up and down to keep the thongs either opened or closed. All three of the utensil have silicone on the ends for a comfort grip and loops to hang them up. The silicone rest has a loop as well. The silicone rest is a great place to put the utensil while I'm cooking. They wrap back into the rest when done. I love how compact it is.

There is no doubt these tools are durable and will last for years even with heavy use. The silicone utensil rest conveniently stores the utensils when not in use. The silicone is easy to clean and it keeps the utensils cleaner than they would be otherwise. When you return home, you can put them in the dishwasher to get a deeper clean. We haven't been camping since I received this set, but I used them on the grill and in a cast iron on the side burner of our grill, a similar set-up if we were camping and I loved using these utensils! The turner gets under food easily and flips like a champ. The spoon is sized perfect for outdoor cooking with my family. The tongs have a bottle opener built in, doubling its efficiency. The utensils each have a corded loop for those having a set-up where they can hang. This set far exceeded my expectations and I can't wait to get out once it cools down and put these to more use.

This is a great addition to a camping cooking kit where space is not an issue. The pieces are high quality, lightweight, and pack well with the design that uses the mat as a holder. Some things that stand out: 1. Metal-cored utensils are much sturdier than most utensils I have used. 2. Bottle opener is reenforced, and definitely will hold up over time. 3. Silicone coating is great for compatibility with all camping cookware. 4. Cleanability at camp is great. Photo shows cleanliness after heavy use, only using water to clean. Overall, I would highly recommend this kit for any outdoor cooking setup where packing size is not a concern.

They are thick, sturdy and made to last. I love that they have their own tray that wraps around them and keeps the set together during storage. The grips felt nice and did their job. They were dishwasher safe, and were also easy to wash by hand. The only thing that I wish was a little different was the spatula. I wish they put a slotted spatula in there for greasy things (like burgers). Other than that, this is the perfect set for camping or grilling!
