Material issues
Great shirt, but I've already had some fabric piling in places after just one wear. Would probably be fine on its own, just don't use it as a base layer under other layers.
These are good!
Hubby and I both have several NRS hoodies. We wear them regularly on the Texas beach. Good for sun and wind protection. Not too hot in the summer months. Nice soft fabric.
heavy for a sun shirt
It’s very comfortable, but not as breathable as other sun shirts. I would say it’s great for low energy activities, but I got rather warm and sweaty in it while hiking/running(much more so than sun shirts by other brands).
Medium Runs big
Really liked quality and style of this sun shirt. It had nice triple stitching and the fabric was very nice. Unfortunately the medium runs way too big, felt like a large. I needed the shirtfor a trip to the Caribbean and I couldn't get a smaller size to try in time. So I had to go with the REI brand which the medium fit perfect as expected. The only other thing I didn't care for is that their logo was printed multiple times on the shirt. 5'10" 165lbs Medium is my usual size I wear.
Very oversized
To be fair, I am a fairly petite, 5’4” woman, but I often wear men’s S since I prefer a looser, boxier fit for some items. I ordered the men’s S for this and was SWIMMING in it. I honestly could have passed it off as a dress. It’s a shame since it seems like an otherwise great product and if they had an XS I would go with that, but alas, they do not. Definitely order a size below what you normally would.
