Where did QC go NRS?
Just opened the box and these are going straight back. The quality is not what I expect from NRS. The construction between the 2 boots is not at all symmetrical, plus the rubber sides have been sloppily cut and applied. I fear they will split after a few wearings. They certainly do not compare to the quality of my previous NRS 3mm paddle boots. Please bring back your QC or expect to lose past customers NRS.
Only for those with very thin legs
The velcro straps at the top of the boots (calves) do not reach across the zipper. I have thin legs, and narrow calves, and I still have this problem. My calves aren't muscular, and I'm not overweight. The left boot is worse than the right boot: the zipper really tight on my left calf. However, I paddled for 2 hours, and was comfortable, and didn't have cold feet. So, if you have thin calves, you might be okay with these. The toe box is nice and wide though!
Difficult to put on
Looks well made. Extremely difficult to put on and take off. Once on they were comfortable enough. (Did not try them in water.) The zipper does not seem long enough, and the gray plastic on the heel really is what is preventing easy putting on and taking off. Returning and will look fo something more flexible
Paddle shoes
They fit, maybe slightly smaller but a snug fit. Some review said they were hard to get in and off, I have not had that problem. Tread on bottom is great. I have not put them to use yet. But trying them on and walking around the house they are great.
