Way too small. Needs to be relabeled. Beware!
There is no way that a "M-L" corresponds to shoe sizes 8-11. I wear an 8 1/2 to 9 depending on brand, and I could barely get these on. They look nice, but they are unwearable. They are listed under "Men's," not "Women's" or "Children's," so there is really no excuse. I am in the process of returning them, but you can save yourself some time and the cost of return shipping by not buying them at all.
Sizing is way off
I purchased a pair of these for my daughter because I could not find a quality women's pair to replace a pair she loved to death. She has thin feet and wears a 9 to 9.5. I bought her s/m that is supposed to fit a men's 8, which is a women's 10-10.5. I was afraid they'd be too big for her. They were ridiculously small. The chart was inaccurate. We can't speak to their comfort; she couldn't even get them on.
Cozy booties!
Pros: They are so soft and warm, perfect for carrying in a more lux (or just plain cold) backpacking trip. Con: These run super small- I am a size 6 women's and my feet are almost too big for the XS booties. Definitely size up one, if not two, sizes.
Very nice pair of house slippers
These boots are very well made, comfy and warm; perfect house slippers to replace similar ones I purchased from REI years ago and that are no longer available and finally wore out. This style of slipper is increasingly difficult to find, esp. for women. I like that the soles are sturdy but not too stiff so good for couch sitting, etc., but for this reason I would not necessarily recommend them for outdoor use such as in a campsite. Note that this particular model and style runs also quite small so I recommend sizing up one or even two sizes, esp. for men. I am a size 7.5 women's and the men's S/M size is perfect. Even this size felt a little tight in the toes at first but the material loosened a bit with a couple of uses and now fits well without slippage.
Buy up a size
Like the booties: Comfy with nice soles but the sizing is not right. My son wears men's 7 1/2 and the S/M size is way too small. His heel and toe are at the ends of the booties so but a larger size.
Prior reviews about sizing would be incorrect. I ordered my size and they are small. Returning.
