Perfect slip on for the winter

I had been looking for a good slip on for the winter for awhile and hadn't come across the right one until I tried out these North Face booties. They're nice and warm, have good traction, and seem to be holding up really well. Perfect for letting my dog out on cold winter nights or wearing up to the local ski mountain before I switch into my ski boots. Honestly, I wish I had a pair that I only used inside because they're so great. I wear a 10.5 in Chuck Taylor's and in these I found a 12 to be the sweet spot after trying on sizes 10-13.

Awesome post-hike winter slippers or lounging

I bought these because a review at Outdoor Gear Labs said these were the best. Reading the reviews here on REI, i decided to get the size 10 (a review said to get a half size down if you in between and I wear a size 10.5 shoes and size 11 boots and running shoes). With no socks or very thin socks, the 10’s were great. But I plan on wearing them after hiking in the mountains in the winter so will have thicker socks on. I just returned the 10’s and bought the 11’s and now they fit perfectly! I highly recommend these for lounging around the house, a quick jaunt to the mailbox, or hanging around the campfire after a long winter hike.

Best Buy ever

Best camp/home slippers. I use these everywhere for taking out trash. walking outside in the cold with the dogs. Where they really shine is in the winter. Ski or snowboard throw these puppies on and your on your way for a great day. Once you are done they are there to give your feet a nice warm hug for putting up with you ski snowboard boots. Skiing not your thing but camping is once again these guys shine. Especially in the middle of the night when you have to get up and use the bathroom. Just hanging out by the campfire as the sun sets these little boots are the best thing. They bring a sense of comfort that only a hot chocolate, or a hot cup of coffee can bring.

super warm

Sleeping bags on your feet with great traction. I have a problem with my feet sweating in certain shoes, but I stay dry in these despite amazing warmth. I was on the fence for the first couple days about the bootie style, and even ordered the low version to try that out. Ended up sticking with these as they provide better ankle warmth. They are also actually easier to slide on for a quick sec, as my heel can smash down the back of the bootie better than the low version. I have super cold floors in my house in winter and these are the best. I wear them inside and for quick trips like school dropoff. They have no support, but I don’t expect that from what are essentially slippers.

Great Booties!

These are great! I know it seems a boring topic, but finding a house shoe/slipper hybrid for use inside and occasional runs to the store, take out trash, etc has been problematic for me. I've tried quite a few with some being a lot more expensive than these. They always seem to have issues, don't fit, fall off, awkward to walk on, etc. These are perfect. The fit is great and they fit snugly. The insulated part keeps my toes warm and toasty (I am cold natured). I have them on now and I actually am on the REI site to buy a second pair to put in my shoe stash (don't ask, it is embarrassing, I have more shoes than Esmerelda Marcos). I have big wide feet (I am a man) and when I find a shoe that fits well I buy pairs for my stash before they go discontinued. I wear a 10 1/2 EEE and the fit is great even on my wide feet at an 11 with a mid-weight wool sock.

Warm, dry, and reasonably priced.

These are perfect for in the house and the occasional stomp outside to the garage, retrieve the mail, whatever. Nice and warm inside and outdoors without sweaty feet. I like the feature of the separated back portion for a slipper effect. I really wanted something to stay dry in a couple inches of snowfall for the aforementioned trips outside. These do the trick. If you're expecting super foot pad cushioning, these aren't the best. Still, I'm happy with them, and they're holding up better than any other "outdoor" moccasin I've worn.

Slippers that don't s#ck

I have never had slippers that I would wear instead of my socks.... until now! These things are great. They're warm, comfortable, and have an excellent sole for grip and outside ventures to get things you forgot to bring in from the car or whatever. They are easy on, easy off without feeling like they are going to fall off. REI had some others I'd considered but these had solid features and an attractive price. Fit IS definitely true to size unlike Minnetonka which run small for sake of comparison.

Not well designed

These look cool and comfy but are not great to walk in. No cushioning to speak of and you feel flat footed in them. It you step in them and step on the back high heel piece it squishes down and you have to pull it out with your fingers (with some difficulty). Otherwise take it off and start over. There is a small heel pull tab but it’s useless because it should be at the top rather than bottom of the heel of the slipper. The model without the high back may be a better design.

deserves more hype

These are great. Warm, comfy, and water resistant. the booties checked all the boxes. I was looking for an easy on/off shoe that I could wear mostly indoors but also short time outside (walk to and from car/house/store). These did the job exactly. I also started wearing them more outside because I loved them that much. They also have good ground feel after breaking them in which I was surprised about. Decent grip for a slipper type shoe.
